★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent staff, restaurants, indoor pool, trampoline and a great location. Our 1 bedroom had a queen bed and table in the main room and two twin beds in the bedroom. Nice balcony with a great view. Market, shopping, community pool and park and restaurants in walking distance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second time here. Friendly very helpful staff! Happy place where nothing is to much trouble! Pool is nice and big, gym and sauna well equipped. Parking available, close to bus stops for skiing, several restaurants close by and if you feel like buying snacks to take up the slopes there is a Billa (grocery store) 2 minutes walk from here. Easy access to Main roads and very close to many touristy places as well. Very very neat and tidy with good coffee! Rooms are bit outdated but cleanliness and super staff more than makes up! Magic church in 4 min walk, don't miss it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Noisy building work at the back of hotel starting at 7am for 12 hours a day including weekends, spoils it although that is not the hotel's fault. Staff are very friendly &very helpful. Rooms are comfortable &spacious.
I feel sorry for the hotel as it is going to have huge impact on them with a massive hotel engulfing them.

Good location the hotel is in surprisingly good shape for how old everything looks.
Mostly friendly staff
Cons:
It looks like a combination between a retirement home and a hospital. And smells like that too.
For a "sport hotel" the pool / spa area were very lacking. After a week there I was still confused why it's called a sports hotel.
Breakfast could use a full remodel. Meets the most basic needs of a German / Austrian but doesn't offer much for international guests.

Hotel was clean and well presented.
Food was well prepared and adapted to suit allergies etc
If anything was not quite right staff listened and responded very effectively.
We enjoyed our ski trip and our stay and would return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wife and I stayed at the Alpenland Sporthotel for our honeymoon years ago. After 14 years, it is still one of our fondest memories. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, the food was great, the surrounding area was very welcoming to tourists and sightseers, and the residents of Maria Alm were among the friendliest we have ever met!
I could not recommend this highly enough!
