★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Almer Bauernkasten is a typical Austrian wooden chalet and we sat and had a huge salad each with beer while listening to thunder and watching the lightning flashes. Service was friendly and helpful and there was plenty of space at the table. The menu had a good variety of choices and prices were decent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed it a lot. Fairly typical menu and regional cuisine with charming traditional interior and atmosphere. Big tables good for families and baby high chair for the little ones. No kids menu that we saw. Hungarian bilingual staff was a bonus!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oh my word! This place has great reviews for a reason. We would have gone here our entire stay, but they were closed one of the days. It was so good and authentic with the amazing service you would expect. (I would suggest the diablo pizza and the trout. The only thing that could be better is trout pizza!)
