★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Traumhafte Aussicht nach 1,5 h anspruchsvoller Wanderung. Nichts für Fußkranke, es geht steil nach oben z.T. hohe, natürlich Stufen.
Fantastic view after 1.5 hours of demanding hike. Nothing for people with foot problems, there is a steep climb, partly high, of course, steps.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine schöne Rundwanderung führt von der Scharflinghöhe aus zum Almkogel. Abwechslungsreiche Strecke, von der geschotterten Forststraße bis zum kleinen Pfad ist alles dabei. Laufend schöne Ausblicke hinunter zu den Seen. Meist Gedränge auf der schmalen Gipfelspitze, von der der Blick über Drachenwand, Schober, Mondsee und Irrsee reicht. Beim Abstieg dann Wolfgangsee und Zwölferhorn und zuletzt der Schafberg.
A beautiful circular hike leads from the Scharflinghöhe to the Almkogel. A varied route, from the gravel forest road to the small path, everything is included. Continuously beautiful views down to the lakes. Mostly a crowd on the narrow peak, from which the view extends over the Drachenwand, Schober, Mondsee and Irrsee. On the descent then Wolfgangsee and Zwölferhorn and finally the Schafberg.

Great view from the summit once you have overcome the steep climb. Ascent and descent made significantly more difficult in mud and snow!
