Krásný kemp super koupání, velmi dostupný že silnice. Doporučuji.

Duschen ab 17 Uhr, kein warmes Essen, neben der Hauptstrasse also sehr laut. Kinder an einem kleinem Strand ohne den Eltern springer dir fasst am Kopf. Hab 15 Euro für nichts bezahlt und bin halberfrohren weg da eben Dusche gespert ohne Pardon. Ein grauslicher Ort. Habe dann im Bad Ischgl einen solar Schwimmbad besucht, bin lange geschwommen und um 2,80 auch ne heisse Dusche bekommen. Tja.Nie mehr. Aber ja, es gab freie Plätze...?Ups nicht vergessen, den Einreisformular könnt ihr selber am Netbook entippen ?

Trotz der wunderschönen Lage, ist Camping Gries der schlechteste und unfreundlichste Campingplatz den ich je aufgesucht habe! Wir waren mit drei Freundinnen da. In unserer (zum Glück) letzten Nacht auf dem Campingplatz ist der Inhaber so ausgerastet, dass ich Angst hatte, nachts alleine auf Toilette zu gehen. Zuvor hat der Inhaber uns vor dem Toilettenhäuschen aufgelauert und uns wegen eines Missverständnisses ausgeschimpft. Bei der Auseinandersetzung hatte ich Angst, dass er mich schlagen könnte.

I have very mixed feelings of this camp. Simply listed as pros (+) and cons(-) below. - camp is very close to main road - major part of camp are fixed trailers, smaller part is for caravans and tents (closer to the road) - places for caravans and tents are not marked, so they cannot be booked in advance. - you cannot leave your place through the day even if it is paid (e.g. you want to go out with camper van) because they cannot guarantee you your spot again - spots are in bigger slope than usual, even the wheel lifters do not help much - showers are not available between 10 to 17 (to prevent people to take multiple showers during day when they bath in lake. - warm water for dishes is paid extra (50 cents) although showers are not paid extra - Grey water drain is not well positioned you have to park exactly over it, otherwise water will go down the hill, not in the drain. - you have to do regular checkout in the morning when you leave as your electric cable is locked in the box, checkout is earlier than usual (11.00) + as there are no reservations available and people mostly do not stay long, you can have a spot even in high season when all nearby camps are fully booked + camp has very nice grassy beach with access to lake + showers with plenty of warm water In overall, we liked the stay because all camps were full and this was our only chance for over night stay next to Mondsee. I would not stay longer than 1-2 nights as I am not allowed to leave during stay. I also felt that I am more or less tolerated than warmly welcomed. Price was 38 eur for camper van, 2 adults and 2 kids.
