Fantastically beautiful area Plenty of excursion destinations and attractions nearby. Great for hiking even with 6 year olds and toddlers (with kraxe). Directly in love with this panorama next vacation is already in the planning.

Nice section of Achensee. It goes very shallowly into the water with sand under your feet. But it's still cold

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein wirklich wunderschöner Strandabschnitt, das Wasser ist herrlich klar,eigenartigerweise ist nur am Südende das Wasser so schön türkis. Zusätzlich muss man keinen Eintritt zahlen, vielleicht eine kleine Wiedergutmachung für den maßlos überteuerten Parkplatz
A really beautiful stretch of beach, the water is wonderfully clear, strangely enough, only at the southern end is the water so beautifully turquoise. In addition, you don't have to pay an entrance fee, maybe a little compensation for the excessively overpriced parking lot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would not recommend it for chill shimming experience. Water is till "a knee", further is ferry, so it's not pleasant to swim, coz legs touch the floor of the lake. Also is a very small part slightly away from the road (i talk about the part which is accessible by car, don't know what's about the part of the lake for hiking), so there is constant noise from cars. And a looooooot of people.... But in general it's a beautiful lake...
