★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Five Finger scenic spot at Hoher Dachstein is the most interesting place especially for capturing the views of Hallstatt from the top. Not for the faint-hearted! The 5fingers viewing platform offers an adrenaline rush at the highest level. This is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps and reaches out like a hand over the 400 m drop.
Over 5 platforms (the 5fingers), each in a different design, you can put your head for heights to the test and enjoy unique views down over Hallstatt, the Hallstättersee lake and the inner Salzkammergut region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing view. We can recommed this area for sure. Spectacular view. Sky is blue. Its cold there. Many turists there. You can hike there or take lift up. Even with lift it is adventure to go up and down. We love the view to Hallstadt see. Really good spot in Hallstadt area.:-)

NEGATIVE or BE CAREFUL:
We had an inexcusable experience with staff of the lift who pushed a mother with a baby in the arms and an elderly couple before boarding during the descent !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First off, very beautiful place to spend the day. I didn't have much time so I just went to 5 fingers, but the whole area has so much to offer. Definitely reserve at least a day, maybe even a weekend. And definitely some extra cash, cause it ain't cheap. Around 40€ a person for the cable car ride. So come prepared ;)
But the view is worth every cent. Just check the photos :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit place, you need to take 2 aerial tramways, then you have a 15 minutes walk towards the 5 fingers themselves (Towards the east for about 3 mins walk, then all the way up to the north of the mountain, you need to climb a bit, but very easy)
You'll have a view towards Hallstat (Visiting this famous city is a must as well!!) and to the mountain range.
There are many beautiful black birds there which you can feed, they will even try to eat from your hand, and some people who parachute around above your head.
I recommend not taking the 3rd tram as there's nothing to see there, it's mainly for people who walk by foot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice view, get your hiking boots if walking during rain time. We were there when it was sunny down the valley but when we were up, all was freezing and cloudy. Should've see the forecast before!
Anyway, was great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visitors can experience the most Elegant, charming view point with an elevation of around 2100 meters. To get to 5 Fingers from Dachstein need to take cable car ? which costs around 40 euros and the ride will be thrilling, It will take 3 hours to cover this view point and surroundings. All in all, taking some pictures gonna be happy moments.
