F	Florian Hollweger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extrem freundliche Hüttenleute und gutes Essen. Es gibt Suppen und Brettjause. Keine Hauptspeisen wie Schnitzel, aber es ist völlig ausreichend. Sehr schöner Ausblick. Von hier aus kann man tolle Wanderungen machen. Ein schöner Ort auf dieser Welt! Extremely friendly hut people and good food. There are soups and board snacks. No main courses like schnitzel, but it is perfectly adequate. Very nice view. From here you can go on great hikes. A beautiful place in this world!

Die Wirtsleute, insbesonders die Wirtin, ist unfreundlich und sichtlich mit der Arbeit überfordert. Der Wirt ist mehr bemüht, obwohl wir auch ihn mehrmals bitten mussten, eine 'Lichtquelle' in die Gaststube zu stellen. Andere Gäste hatten Pech und blieben im Finstern an ihren Tischen sitzen. Nachtruhe um 22 h, Frühstück pünktlich um 7 h, damit die Wirtsleute um spätestens 8 h ihre Ruhe von den Wanderern haben. Unter 'Gastfreundschaft' verstehen wir etwas Anderes! The house is very nice, cozy and is in a wonderful landscape! The landlord, especially the landlady, is unfriendly and visibly overwhelmed with the work. The landlord tries harder, although we had to ask him several times to put a 'light source' in the dining room. Other guests were unlucky and sat at their tables in the dark. Quiet time at 10 p.m., breakfast punctually at 7 a.m. so that the hosts can get away from the hikers by 8 a.m. at the latest. By 'hospitality' we mean something different!

Die Kaspressknödel schmeckten wunderbar, und dann die nette Einladung auf die Kostprobe "Gebackene Mäuse". Vielen Dank, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Very nice hut, inviting and cozy. Open cordiality and friendliness of the hosts are particularly worthy of mention. The cheese dumplings tasted wonderful, and then the nice invitation to the "Baked Mice" sample. B	Berg Freund on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich habe die Hütte nun mehrmals besucht. Wenn der Gedanke "Im Einklang mit der Natur" eine Ergänzung sucht, dann finde ich das auf der Wolfsberger Hütte. Die neuen Pächter legen großen Wert auf die Qualität ihrer Produkte, nicht nur natürlich, sondern auch mit Liebe hergestellt. Die Wirtin Brigitte, sammelt die Kräuter selbst, die bunten Aromen finden sich in den Speisen, welche herzlich angeboten werden. Dazu kommen die vielen selbst gestalteten Getränke, wie Säfte, Most und die Schnäpse. Das Detail findet sich im Geschmack, letztendlich auch in der "Ehrlichkeit" der Inhaltsstoffe. Freundlichkeit habe ich viel erlebt, auch auf anderen Hütten, offene Herzlichkeit von Wirtsleuten, das Gefühl "Du bekommst etwas Besonders für Dich" das ist das Besondere auf der Wolfsberger Hütte. Sicher nicht immer, haben die Wirte (bei hoher Fluktuation) die Möglichkeit, es so an alle Gäste weiterzugeben, aber auch dann, fühlt man das Besondere, wenn man es sehen möchte. Manche Kritiker, sollten hier ihren Egoismus unter ihre Motivation stellen, nämlich die Natur zu besuchen. Damit kommt schnell der Gedanke an die Wertigkeit und dann gelingt es auch diesen Menschen, subjektiv, einfach zufrieden zu sein. Ich bin dankbar, dass es solche "Wirtsleut" gibt und dass man über der Baumgrenze eine solche Qualität finden kann. Ich bin auch als Hundebesitzer sehr willkommen, aber damit weiß ich auch ... ohne Regeln geht es nicht und das ist gut so, für alle Gäste. Berg Heil! I have now visited the hut several times. The new tenants attach great importance to the quality of their products, not only natural, but also made with love. The landlady Brigitte collects the herbs herself, the colorful aromas can be found in the dishes, which are warmly offered. In addition, there are the many self-designed drinks, such as juices, cider and schnapps. The detail can be found in the taste, and ultimately also in the "honesty" of the ingredients. I have experienced a lot of friendliness, also at other huts, open cordiality from landlords, the feeling "You are getting something special for yourself" that is what is special about the Wolfsberger Hütte. Certainly not always, the hosts (with high fluctuation) have the opportunity to pass it on to all guests, but even then, you feel something special when you want to see it. Some critics should put their egoism under their motivation, namely to visit nature. This quickly brings the thought of the value and then these people also manage to be subjectively, simply, satisfied. I am grateful that there are such "landlords" and that you can find such quality above the tree line. I am also very welcome as a dog owner, but with that I also know ... it doesn't work without rules and that's a good thing for all guests. Bergheil!

The house can be visited, provides natural water outside for just passing by and serves as point towards the Zingerle Kreuz. The first establishment is over 100 years old.
