Wunderschöne Hütte; sehr gutes Essen; die Hüttenwirtin Gerti ist ein Hit; für unsere Kinder ein Hit-Hasen, Hühner, Steckerlbrot am Abend-toll!!!! We stayed at the hut. Beautiful cabin; very good food; the hut landlady Gerti is a hit; a hit for our children - rabbits, chickens, bread on a stick in the evening - great !!!!

Mein Kollege Bernhard S. schwärmte vom leckeren belegtem Brot und bergfrischem Quellwasser. Die Bewirtung war sehr freundlich und der Kaiserschmarrn der krönende Abschluß. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! ?? Beautiful dreamy hut on the Saualm. With our own herb garden and top food. My colleague Bernhard S. raved about the delicious sandwiches and fresh mountain water. The hospitality was very friendly and the Kaiserschmarrn was the crowning conclusion. We will be back definitely! ??

This old school hutte is completely surrounded by mountains and forests, you can easily walk there from Lippbauerhof or you can park right in front, the street to get there by the way is suitable for all cars (at least when is not snowing). They have a blackboard with meals that can vary from day to day, but most of them are actually masterpieces that you can find every day in example the Leberknedel Soupe or the Jager Brot (a slice of bread stuffed with tons of cheese, prosciutto and fresh vegetables), also Kaiserscmarren are great and the beer are great too. The ladies that serve you are dressed with traditional clothes, lovely, and they are actually really cozy. Big tables, great with sun, even more fashion inside (if it’s a rainy day it can fit about 10-15 people inside). I’m sure you can also sleep in the solo room they have at the first floor, but I never tried. I’m pretty positive that I messed up with all of the german meal names, sorry about that. Anyway I recommend you get there and try your own, it’s definitely worth!
