★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed when we were on a cycle tour. This is a beautiful building which has been renovated with great sensitivity. It is a good mix of old and modern.
The room was large and really comfortable. The service from the young staff was excellent. They were particularly lovely. The restaurant was good too.
The village is very quiet and there appeared to be nothing else open as the recent flood had damaged the other inn. There may be other attractions that we were not aware of.
A great place to stay.
