★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To me this is one of the best restaurants in Austria. Very creative, surprising and always stylish but regional. Their star choice is the "carte blanche" menu where guests don't know what they will be served. The kitchen creates a 4- or 6-course surprise menu and only afterwards serves the menu to see what was on the table. Love it!

They only use regional, quality controlled produce and ingredients (sources listed on the back of the menu).
Educated waiters are well prepared to make recommendations for wine and beer to accompany the meal.
Dishes are a mix of traditional cuisine and modern interpretations.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ World-class Restaurant. Everything feels special, it’s an outstanding experience for all of your senses. Can easily compete with the best restaurants in Paris. What I love most about this place is that they get the best quality ingredients and source them locally, plus they keep experimenting and bringing totally new tastes and combinations to the table... love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I‘m really sorry to say that this has been quite a disappointment.
The room was rather small and quite strangely furnished. I guess the designers had a vintage look in mind, but the outcome was rather cheap and shabby looking. The bathroom and the shower were not very clean (but all the more calcified) and the furniture looked battered and used, but not in a nice way.
It was nice to have the little river right outside the room, but that alone does not justify the price.
The service at the restaurant was nice, but not very professional. Trying to take away a plate, while the guest is still eating, is nothing but unprofessional.
Also, serving „Schmalzbrot“ to vegetarian guests is a very questionable thing to do. We explicitly told the management days before we arrived, that we were vegetarian, and we were repeatedly told that this was no problem and our needs would be met and taken care of.
This was obviously not the case.
So I must say, the place could have been nice, but they just didn’t meet the standards they were aiming for.
