★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious food, great service! We were able to book a reservation quickly and upon arriving we seated promptly. The location is warm and cozy. We ordered the Pumpkin soup, braised vegetables with crispy potato bags and the weiner schnitzel. All were delicious! Our waiter was very nice and attentive. We certainly recommend!

When we visited Vienna we tried some of their local traditional Viennese dishes.
Waldviertlerhof restaurant in Vienna is a nice traditional Viennese restaurant for traditional Austrian food in a very traditionally decorated ambiance.
You might wonder what type of food you should try in Vienna as there are many choices of traditional Austrian food, International Foodie Guide tried their smoked trout and snails for starter and wild boar and venison for the main course.
The dishes here represent true Viennese food, a lot of game and the flavors are very rich, we also tried some of their local wine and beer to go with our dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great restaurant with incredible garden and very nice interior. Old building with a lot of history. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The food is simly amazing. We ordered four traditional viennese dishes to share and everything was delicious. The meat was so tender and well cooked. The salads were very light and so tasty. Definitely recommend it!

But I got totally wrong. Once we ordered the food. Then in 2 mins the food was already on the table. I’m not sure that’s how people called “ fresh made”
And the pork was so salty. I couldn’t eat
And one waiter the way he asked for tips was just awful. Won’t be that restaurant again.
