Only downside is that there is no physical separation between smoking and non-smoking area, but in our case we didn't smell the smoke at all in the non-smoking area.

Trust the waiter's/bartender's suggestion of wine, he is good. The atmosphere is so warm and comfortable. I strongly recommend this place. Have a nice dinner!

The entrance is little hard to find and there is a upper and lower restaurant. The upper is for quick meals and the lower in the picture is for proper sit down meals. The food is on point and I recommend the Schnitzel with a good Austrian beer. In peak season I would make reservations. Enjoy and Prost!

We went twice in our short stay in Vienna and absolutely loved it. The walk from the main train station to the hotel upon our arrival paid off when we stumbled upon this pub. If you want to experience the local food in local atmosphere, this is the place to go!

The place feels familiar, even homey, but also classy at the same time. The food comes in huge portions, and is really delicious. (Do try the schnitzel!) I'd like to believe that if my grandma had her own restaurant, or if my grandfather spent his afternoon coffee with the newspaper in one, this is the type of place they would've chosen.

The food is exquisite: a selection of local dishes, prepared with fresh products, great care and culinary mastery. The staff is really friendly and makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Without overexaggerating they prepared the most delicious schnitzel I have ever tried. Another plus: it's not touristy and the atmosphere is quite intimate and homey. I can't recommend this place enough!
