★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice hotel in the middle of Saalbach centre.
Clean rooms. Wide variety of choice during breakfast buffet and dinner.
Lovely terrace to enjoy a drink after your hike or bike ride.
Indoor and outdoor pool, but rather small. Ideal to soak a bit. Also natural outdoor pool, but don’t be afraid of the chilly water.
Parking just outside the hotel.
We were here during summer season.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hello, my name is Chris. I never post a review, but now I just want to share my story about the Hotel de Post in Saalbach. maybe I sound too negative, but I can't do anything else. I pay 2000, - euro for 3 nights, then I am told that breakfast is not included. I agree that this costs extra and we still want it and then you will certainly not get value for money. I often come to hotels in Austria with less allure, but certainly a better breakfast buffet. after that you can search for your room ...... if you like an escape room then you are at the right place, but don't hesitate for half an hour, because this is impossible. all in all a real disappointment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff was very bad. After getting our drinks one by one from a very hasty waiter. We missed a gluhwein after the serving and asked about it. The waiter reponded highly annoyed, and gave a half filled gluhwein. When paying, the waiter took a sizable tip without asking. Terrible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Served raw chicken nuggets to our 3 year old daughter and to 2 other children on another table. Luckely we cut the chicken before eating and we noticed this.
The waiter responded that this is no problem because it was deep fried. It is incomprehensible that a restaurant is not aware of salmonella and serving this to a 3 year old.
When you go here (which I don't recommend) check your meat if it is cooked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location, but unlike other Vaya hotels, the room was not very clean in comparison with the price we paid. Food in the evening is good/average and often prepared in advance. Breakfast was very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay in VAYA Post Hotel was one of the best winter holidays. It was everyday like going home. The staff of this hotel is amazing. The breakfast, the dinner was just delicious. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. Location is also perfect. Thank to ALL of you that you took such a great care of us. We miss you.
