★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really nice hotel in the center with the cosiest lobby. Rooms are renovated and spacious. Friendly staff, especially Leela who took us snowshoeing and held yoga classes. Good breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed for one week Feb '19; it was GR8! Very comfortable, lovely food and staff. The service was excellent. The hotel is recently refurbished and has a good central location; the lifts are easy to access.
Excellent wellness & sauna area to enjoy.
A true 4* hotel.
We all really enjoyed a snow shoe walk with other guests that a hotel manager Leela Logan led.
Obertauern is a lovely ski resort with a fantastic snow record. It works well for mixed ability groups.
Grosseck Speiereck is a nearby ski area which is easy to access on the free ski bus with a 20 min journey. That area is more low key than Obertauern with some lovely views, ski runs and mountain restaurants. It is well worth a visit.

Excellent food each night.
I enjoyed the daily weather reports and news delivered at breakfast.
Breakfast buffet was sumptuous and plentiful.
Room (single 212) was very small though but perfectly functional.
Wellness area was large, varied and never crowded.
An excellent stay!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a family holiday over Christmas week: really well looked after and the staff were superb, made the children feel really special for Christmas and a very family run feel to the place: the staff really care. First time skiing for all of us and the hotel arranged everything to our needs through the equally helpful Freu Den Haus with ski hire and an instructor. Half board breakfast and dinner were a huge spread even though they had only just re-opened, and special suppers included a fondue and a delicious gala dinner on Christmas eve, which the hotel staff made a lovely event. Kids club is well resourced and imaginatively run, much more than just convenient child care. We had a spacious family apartment that was ideal for a week's stay as a family of 5 and being in such a great hotel meant that the holiday was much more than just skiing: a fab break after a long year. We needed RAT tests prior to departure which again were effortlessly arranged with the local doctors surgery without having to take time out from our holiday. Definitely going back.
