★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now. Where to start. Tweng is a skiing town. Stupidly I thought 'wow ! Beautiful mountains , I bet tourists still come in the summer too'. They don't. Pretty much this was THEE ONLY place open in town. We walked in and the smell of cigarettes was a joy to behold. However the nice old guy was happy to see someone, anyone . We ordered up the food and he disappeared downstairs or somewhere to chisel the ingredients out of a freezer somewhere, leaving us to delight in the 80s mix tape which had likely been playing since around that time. Or did Austrians and Germans listen to 60s music in the 80s? Not sure. Anyway 'calling Gloriaaaaaaaaa' battered out 'Glori-a! GLORIA ! I think I've got your number ...' which seemd to last for 8 hours straight. The food was actually nice even of the old boy stood invadingly close when responding to a question. Probably just missing human contact. The place is traditional looking, if tradition is an 80s Austrian ski bar ... 'I really don't remember , was it something that she said, other voices in your head , calling ....' you know the rest
