★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have stayed here six seasons now, after having tried many different places in the Austrian, French, and Swiss alps. Nothing beats Obertauern and we have been pleased with this hotel. It is nicely located in the center of Obertauern with walking distance to bars and restaurants. You can ski out of and ij to the hotel. The ski school assembles right next to the hotel. If you fancy a nice all-day skiing you can join Mr. Lürzer, the owner, for the Tauern-runde. Oh, and the breakfast is fantastic.
