★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geheimtipp in Salzburg. Beste Bäckerei mit sehr freundlichem Personal und den leckersten Brötchen und Stückchen. Mein Tipp sind die Feuerzelten. Das sind kleine Brötchen aus Roggenteig mit Salz obendrauf. Dazu ein Stück Butter, ein Traum! Man kann gemütlich draußen im Hof sitzen oder wenn es regnet auch drinnen.
 Insider tip in Salzburg. Best bakery with very friendly staff and the most delicious rolls and pieces. My tip are the fire tents. These are small rolls made from rye dough with salt on top. With a piece of butter, a dream! You can sit comfortably outside in the courtyard or inside when it rains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bestes Brot in der Stadt. Semmerl und Salzstangerl eh legendär, wie auch super Cremeschnitten am Di und Do - aber jetzt gibts auch noch das Gerstenbaguette - und das ist der absolute Knaller - Signaturedish - und das Ganze mit sehr nettem Personal!
Best bread in town. Rolls and pretzel sticks are legendary anyway, as are great cream slices on Tuesdays and Thursdays - but now there is also the barley baguette - and that's the absolute bang - signature Swedish - and the whole thing with very nice staff!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Local cafe with a great spread of pastries! The owners were also really hospitable and service was great! The lady was patient in using English to explain what the different kinds of pastries were.
Highly recommend this! Many of the patrons seemed to be local rather than tourists :) In fact, it seems like this is a popular local hideout for older folk to socialise! Saw people taking away the bread and pastries too.
