Очень красивая витрина и наверно на этой улице это единственная пекарня. Штрудель был свежий, но пресный и невкусный - ничего кроме яблок и теста. Продавец был недоволен, что много клиентов.
A very beautiful showcase and probably the only bakery on this street. The strudel was fresh, but bland and tasteless - nothing but apples and dough. The seller was unhappy that there were many customers.

would say the brown bread the saleswoman insisted we get was very good, we plan to go get more, the olive loaf is average, some guy callled me large outside door which was weird, cause he seemed very friendly.

My hotel's breakfast buffet left much to be desired, so I hit this place at the end of Linder Gasse. The lady serving me was very cheerful. Got two enormous pieces of strudel, for about 2 euros each. To die for delicious.

We popped by to buy some Apple strudel, it was cold but tasted ok. The annoying bit was that when I asked if I can pay by credit card the lady shouted “no” really rudely. Then she went on to hand us over the 3 pastries we got on our hands (no bag or anything offered). Btw, the total amount was €6.05 and instead of waving the 0.05 and giving me back €4 from the €10 I handed in, she gave me €3 and then a ton of small value coins, as if she wanted to punish me. Normally I wouldn’t complain about such small stuff but the overall ambience in that bakery made us feel not welcome hence the lengthy review.
