★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated at the top of The Timmelsjoch Pass just before the toll booth in the Austrian side (Or after the toll booths if you're coming from Italy) There is lots of free parking so I would imagine it's possible to visit the museum from either side without paying the toll, just park up and walk across.
It really is the most superb place, I'd give it 6 stars if I could.
The collection is fabulous, some un-restored exhibits too which is really refreshing.
The building itself is a work of art and the restaurant is equally stunning. Even with the cloud down and the rain lashing down this place is magical and the views on a clear day must be astounding.
Even if you have no interest in Motorbikes you should still go here, it's, how can I put this, AWESOME!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a surprise on top of the Timmelsjoch pass. Very cool and impressive architecture, nice service and delicious pizza. We even had to show our Covid certificate, which we appreciated. Guests next to us had none and had to leave the restaurant. That is, although we vaccinated, of course ironically, will all be dead in seven years, we were at least still fed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing displays. Hundreds of motorcycles of all ages plus some vehicles of interest. Great set up with restaurant attached and mountain Gondola Station all in the one building. Can visit by car or stop off for a well earned break from skiing. Free entry for all ski passes of 6 days! So we visited twice during our skiing week, truly amazing displays.
