Die Mädl´s sind super freundlich, herzlich und machen einen ausgezeichneten Kaiserschmarrn! Sehr empfehlenswert und freu mich schon aufs wiederkommen :) A beautiful small rustic but cozy alpine hut with a breathtaking view. The girls are super friendly, warm and make an excellent Kaiserschmarrn! Highly recommended and I'm looking forward to coming back :)
M	Max Imilian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine urige kleine und gemütliche Hütte mit nettem Personal. Der Kaiserschmarren ist wirklich hervorragend. Warum also nur 2 Sterne? Wir waren an einem wettertechnisch etwas durchwachsenem Tag dort und das mit 6 Personen. Wir haben 5X Kaiserschmarren und 1X irgendetwas mit Brot bestellt (Krüstchen oder so etwas in der Art). Die erste Portion kam schnell. Danach kamen dann im Abstand von gut 20min die Kaiserschmarren; jeweils einzeln. Abgesehen davon, dass wir nicht zusammen essen konnten, haben wir gut 1.5h auf unser Essen gewartet. Den letzten Kaiserschmarren haben wir dann abbestellt. Hintergrund war, dass es nur einen Ofen/Herdplatte gibt. Es wäre sehr schön gewesen, wenn man uns das vorher mitgeteilt hätte. Dann hätten wir die Hälfte bestellt und geteilt, was ok gewesen wäre. Aufgrund der langen Wartezeit sind wir dann beim Abstieg noch ordentlich nass geworden. Grundsätzlich muss man auch sagen, dass der Wirpitschsee sehr klein ist und der „Aufstieg“ über geschotterte Wege führt. Lediglich die möglichen Abkürzungen sind etwas fordernd. Die Aussicht von der Hütte ist ok, mehr nicht. Alles in allem lohnt sich diese Wanderung unserer Meinung nach nicht. A quaint little and cozy hut with nice staff. The Kaiserschmarren is really excellent. So why only 2 stars? We were there on a weather-technically somewhat mixed day and that with 6 people. We ordered 5X Kaiserschmarren and 1X something with bread (crusts or something like that). The first serving came quickly. Then came the Kaiserschmarren every 20 minutes; each individually. Apart from the fact that we couldn't eat together, we waited a good 1.5 hours for our food. We then canceled the last Kaiserschmarren. The background was that there was only one oven / hob. It would have been very nice if we had been told about this beforehand. Then we would have ordered half and shared which would have been ok. Due to the long waiting time, we got really wet on the descent. Basically you have to say that the Wirpitschsee is very small and the "ascent" leads over gravel paths. Only the possible abbreviations are a bit demanding. The view from the hut is ok, nothing more. All in all, in our opinion, this hike is not worth it.
F	Fred on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kleine aber gemütliche Hütte am Wirpitschsee. Das Essen ist sehr gut, aber am Allerbesten ist der Kaiserschmarrn. Sowas Gutes habe ich schon lange nicht mehr gegessen. Die Bedienung super freundlich und sehr hübsch. Nach dem, für uns, langen Anstieg, eine Wohltat so freundlich und nett bewirtet zu werden. Small but cozy hut on the Wirpitschsee. The food is very good, but the best part is the Kaiserschmarrn. Something good I haven't eaten in a long time. The service was super friendly and very pretty. After the long climb for us, it was a pleasure to be served so kindly and nicely.
