v	vienna eats on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ we know the mother flagship in düsseldorf, so there was quite some expectation for takumi in vienna! the place is cute and gives a bit of an izakaya feeling. wakame sarada and korokke are items you seldomly find in vienna, but they don‘t taste very special. the karaage was definitely just normal fried chicken pieces (although the picture on the menu shows original karaage). the menu has some odd combinations: ebi fry gyoza don? teriyaki gyoza don? gyo-kara yakisoba? ? the ramen noodles are the same as in every takumi, the broth (we had spicy butatame miso) was ok but didn’t have a refined taste, the pork belly meat also didn‘t fit. we missed chashu on the menu! all in all this newly opened place leaves room for improvement.

A	Akira Saito(SBTM) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very much looking forward to visiting the Viennese branch of the famous Takumi from Düsseldorf….. but was (perhaps because of high expectations?) quite disappointed…. The service was nice, quick and attentive and the decor/atmosphere is warm and inviting but the menu is quite heavily inclined towards ‘Yakisoba’ and ramen they’ve had were somewhat strange to a Japanese tongue. Not only that, the soup was really bland and was like out of focus photography … it really lacked something…. I’ve been to Takumi in Düsseldorf l, Köln, Einthoven and Frankfurt, they all served something different in each location but this Viennese one is probably the least I was impressed with ☹️ maybe it’s still early days and I will come back hoping that it will be better ?
A	Alexia Zwitkovits on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an absolute stunning and great place...amazing atmosphere, excellent food, welcoming staff...it is really a place where you like to spend some time and enjoy a great lunch/dinner with friends. I have never been a great friend of Ramen but let me tell you, this one is delicious. All in all an absolute recommendation!!
