I’m currently looking for the best ramen bar around the globe. While Oreno Ramen is not on the very top of the list, it is still an amazing ramen bar in Vienna. Really liked the ambience which was completed by the restaurants dog. Hot Miso Ramen with minced chicken meat was really good. Add extra Chashu Slices for the final touch! Really enjoyed the experience! Stop by and check it out to satisfy your craving for good Ramen! Cheers

We recently discovered this place, and it easily dethroned mochi ramen bar as our new favourite ramen place. It has a rich and flavourful broth with a slightly creamy texture, and the noodles are also excellent.

This review is long overdue. I live in Asia where you can easily find ramen, but ever since I visited Oreno Ramen in Dec 2019, I would tell my friends that the best ramen I've ever had was in Europe. Everything in the bowl, from the broth to the noodles, were so well-put together. The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing and modern, and the service staff were all so friendly. The highlight of my visit would be the restaurant owner's dog, Klara (@klaramops.wien), she was such a dear! The servers were also nice enough to let me feed Klara some treats. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I will be back if I ever get the chance to visit Vienna again.

Ver nice little Ramen place. + excellent food + great local (and japanese) beer - cash only (it's ridiculous) - had a long drink, that was way too sweet (stick to classics, or water) Picture: Special Menu item - "Kimchi Ramen"

I’ve recently tried a couple Ramen places around Vienna, and Oreno consistently appears in lists and recommendations - so I gave it a shot, and to make it short: it’s worth it. A bit on the pricier side, and with a smaller menu than other similar places, my expectations for the ramen were appropriately high. The appetizers, all classics from karaage to edamame and gyoza, are decent and served quickly. Nothing too special, though, and surprisingly so were most ingredients in my ramen. All good, no complaints, but nothing extraordinary. That is, aside from the arguably most important ingredient of them all: the noodles. I don’t know how they do it, but their ramen noodle is such a fantastic, flavourful and firm experience that it instantly elevates the whole ramen bowl to another level. Probably the best noodle I’ve had, honestly. The desserts didn’t disappoint either: their matcha ice cream comes in combination with tasty fruity sides, even though it would hold up on its own just fine. And if you’re into sake, the Wandering Poet was an amazing treat at the end.

one of our favorite ramen places in town – noodles, broth and chashu all remind me of japan. i recommend karaage with lemon-mayo sauce as a starter ?
