Ramen Beef Broth is creamy and still okay as we are in Austria and not in Japan. So I guess, my rating is based on how authentic the food is. The rice in the rice meals is not Japanese Rice. Good service.

Great service, great noodles and great toppings and they are doing almost everything right…..but I was a bit disappointed with the soup…..I don’t know what was lacking but I prefer my ramen soup either umami-full clear or bursting of tasty fat richness and flavour complexity but unfortunately their soup was somewhere in between ? I’d love to go back and try again though ?

Very, very good! We had the Gyujan and the Tantan, both savory, rich, consistent and well balanced - also, beware, big bowls! The spicy edamame were a nice - and truly spicy - appetizer. Highly reccomended.

Ramen here is comparable to some of the best ramen shops in Japan. Chewy and firm noodles with tasty broth. You can choose between beef broth, chicken broth and vegetable stock. The beef broth was creamy and the chicken stock was clear tasty and clean. Both are highly reccomended. The char siew, bamboo shoots, black fungus and flavoured egg were all well cooked and great compliments to the ramen. Well worth every cent.

Probably the best ramen i had in Europe so far. Noodles, eggs and chashu perfectly cooked, and broth was extremely flavourful. Recommended

I took a beef ramen and my boyfriend took a vegan ramen, both were very delicious. Mine was surprisingly heavy and creamy, vegan ramen had a really nice vegetable taste. I'd say the portion was bigger than usually in ramen cafés. Tee (as you see on the photo) is traditionally served and worth its money, c.4.2-4.5 euro. The price is overall as you can find in a ramen place in Vienna. I called and ask for the reservation, the manager was a very polite and helpful person, he offered me two options: sitting at the bar or in a separate area. I take a table in the separé but actually the bar looks very authentic too and I will definitely book a spot there next time for a new experience. The place is bigger than it appears. The personnel is very friendly and attentive, they ask your language preference.

We enjoyed our Ramen during lunch, which was appropriate in freshness, taste and portion size! Service friendly and professional. Good choice on the menu and advice from team. The food arrived quickly and was hot and tasty. Although ramen-noodle soups are traditional Japanese fare, the décor at Ramen Makotaya has taken the Japanese minimalist aesthetic in a modern direction. It evokes the experience of ramen as urban convenience food — fast and efficient to prepare and consume, but healthful and satisfying enough to call dinner. This is a MUST-TRY Ramen place if you have not gone there yet! Do not delay your visit – seriously, the Japanese cuisine is waiting for you!

Best Ramen I've had in Vienna so far! The broth is very delicious, the egg is perfectly cooked and delicious thanks to the soy sauce and the meat is soft and well marinated. The noodles are thin and good, and the amount overall is perfectly filling. Especially the service is great and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice.
