K	Kaan Pamuk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cosy place is not on the shore of Duna. Another canal flowing to Duna which is called Donaukanal hosts Strandbar inside Hermannpark. If it’s a sunny day when you’re here, nobody can be luckier than you’re in Vienna. Ice cold beer and snacks are served fast. If the place is crowded on sand, you should walk down here to share the weather with these people. The more crowded, the more attractive I mean. Covered with buildings around doesn’t cause you feeling bad that you’re still in the city. Because Strandbar is just over there!

Great ambience and very personal place with friends or a loved one. You would just not like to leave this place once your here. Must go after a busy day for a relaxing experience. Cheers !
V	Vladan Garic on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place located in the centre of Vienna, right on the coast of Danube Canal. It is five minutes away from the Schwedenplatz metro station (lines U4, U1). Maybe the best thing about this place are the sunbeds which you can use, and the sand gives you feeling like you are on a real beach. Prices are okay, like in most other bars in Vienna. It's a self-service, so you will maybe have to wait a little bit longer in the queue to get a drink. Now, it's mandatory to have a 3G proof to enter the bar. Smoking is allowed since it's an open-air bar. I give it a five-star rating!
