Danke an das Ensemble und Andre Heller, der diese Institution am Leben erhalten hat. A childhood dream came true. Had to be 62 to see the Punch in Urania for the first time. Thanks to the ensemble and Andre Heller, who kept this institution alive.

j	jeanette weissmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Seit Übernahme des Hauses haben sich die Geschichten sehr zum Vorteil verändert - weg vom Angst einflösenden "Bösen" (vor dem meine damals knapp 3 jährige in Begleitung ihrer um 5 Jahre älteren Schwester Angst hatte) zu nun abenteuerlichen Geschichten mit subtilen, pädagogisch wertvollen Botschaften. Das Theater selbst hat einen klassischen Charme, das Team (Kassa, Garderobe) ist sympatisch & zuvorkommend. Toll und unkompliziert ist der Online Shop. Since taking over the house, the stories have changed for the better - away from the frightening "evil" (of which my then almost 3-year-old, accompanied by her sister who was 5 years older, was afraid) to more adventurous stories with subtle, pedagogically valuable messages. The theater itself has a classic charm, the team (ticket office, cloakroom) is friendly and courteous. The online shop is great and uncomplicated.
C	Christian Pichler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das wohl traditionsreichste Kasperletheater. Umso trauriger, dass das Personal derart unhöflich ist! Verstehe auch nicht, warum man in Zeiten der Pandemie die Leute so setzt, dass sie aneinander picken, obwohl in der Reihe noch genug Platz wäre. Während das Theater selbst schön ausgemalt ist, sind die Toiletten absolut unterirdisch! Vergammelt. Dass man on einem Theater keine Film-/Tonaufnahmen machen darf, ist klar. Aber dass das Personal wie Häftlingsaufseher durch die Reihen schreitet und jedes fotografieren sofort unterbindet ist dann doch wohl etwas übertrieben. Man könnte es ja auch so sehen, dass jedes Foto (das dann womöglich in sozialen Netzwerken landet) auch eine Werbung sein könnte... Andererseits werden Nachzügler während der Vorstellung ständig rein gelassen, was ich persönlich als wesentlich störender empfinde, weil jedes Mal das Licht von Vorraum den dunklen Saal erhellt. Alles in allem einer solchen Institution nicht wirklich würdig. Probably the most traditional Punch and Judy show. So sad that the staff is so rude! I also don't understand why in times of the pandemic people are seated in such a way that they peck at each other even though there is still enough space in the row. While the theater itself is beautifully painted, the toilets are absolutely underground! scruffy. It is clear that you are not allowed to make film/sound recordings in a theatre. But the fact that the staff walks through the rows like inmate wardens and immediately stops everyone from taking photos is probably a bit exaggerated. You could also look at it this way, that every photo (which then possibly ends up on social networks) could also be an advertisement... On the other hand, latecomers are constantly let in during the performance, which I personally find to be much more annoying, because every time that Light from the antechamber illuminates the dark hall. All in all not really worthy of such an institution.
S	Stefan Wurm on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gute Organisation, tolle Vorführung! Der Junior und ich waren begeistert. Leider wird der Billeteur beim Eingang immer unfreundlicher. Daher nur vier Sterne. Restliches Personal ist sehr bemüht und sehr kinderfreundlich.

Das ist was für alle die sich das Kind im Herzen erhalten haben und auch für die kleinsten. Voll super. Danke ❤️?❤️ a piece of Viennese history ❤️?❤️ You have to come here as an adult too. Yes, very beautiful and captivating. This is something for everyone who has kept the child in their hearts and also for the smallest. Very nice. thank you
m	michaela boxberg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr liebe Vorstellung. Hätte nur einen Vorschlag: Lasst die Kinder vorne sitzen und die Erwachsenen hinten. Die Kleinen sehen über die Erwachsenen einfach nicht drüber! Da sitzen in den vordersten Reihen große Väter und Mütter etc. Das ist eine Vorstellung für KINDER! Very nice idea. Only have one suggestion: let the kids sit in the front and the adults in the back. The little ones just can't see past the adults! There are big fathers and mothers etc. sitting in the front rows. This is a performance for CHILDREN!
