B	Be Sue on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Wiener Kaffeehauskultur besticht ja bekanntlich auch mit ihrer Entschleunigung. Man kann sich mit einer Tasse Kaffee und einem gedruckten Werk stundenlang zurückziehen und den brausenden Verkehr/Wind/... hinter sich lassen. Leider geht das, insbesondere bei Platzmangel schon mal verloren. Dann wird man ab der zweiten Tasse schon mal mehr oder minder darauf aufmerksam gemacht zu weichen, weil Stammgäste kommen. Geschieht das mit höflicher Miene und einem entschuldigenden Lächeln blickt man da schon mal liebt hinweg, erhebt sich beschwingt und verschwindet in die herbstliche Außenwelt. Sieht die Person dann eher leicht säuerlich drei, wird man wie ungebeten behandelt, bleibt Trinkgeld und der Gebäckkauf aus. Man geht, kopfschüttelnd. Anders gehandhabt hätte ich mich sogar etwas schuldig gefühlt, weil ich so lange verweilt wäre und wäre ohnehin bei Nachfrage gewichen. Aber das kann man durchaus besser handhaben. Weil Kaffee trink- und genießbar ist, die restlichen Angestellten höflich und nett, das Gebäck frisch und eben keine Industrieware gibt’s dennoch mehr Sterne. Weil, man möchte ja auch nicht garstig sein. The Viennese coffeehouse culture is known for its deceleration. You can retreat for hours with a cup of coffee and a printed work and leave the roaring traffic / wind / ... behind. Unfortunately, this is sometimes lost, especially if there is not enough space. Then from the second cup onwards you are more or less made aware of the fact that regular guests are coming. If this is done with a polite expression and an apologetic smile, one looks over there in love, rises up and disappears into the autumn outside world. If the person then sees three slightly acidic, you are treated as uninvited, there is no tip and no pastries. You go shaking your head. If I had handled it differently, I would even have felt a bit guilty because I would have been lingering for so long and would have given way anyway. But this can be handled better. Because coffee is drinkable and enjoyable, the other employees polite and nice, the pastries fresh and no industrial goods, there are still more stars. Because you don't want to be nasty either.
