F	Florian on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Stiftskirche wurde 1739 vermutlich nach Plänen von Joseph Emanuel Fischer von Erlach erbaut. Unter Maria Theresia wurde das Kirchengebäude erweitert. 1772 wurde durch Benedikt Henrici der heutigen Turm mit seinem spätbarocken Helm errichtet. Die Kirche diente zwischen 1785 und 1799 als Militärdepot und wurde 1799 wieder geweiht. Die Stiftskaserne geht auf eine Stiftung des vermögenden Hofkammerrats Johann Konrad Richthausen Freiherr von Chaos zugunsten von Waisenkindern zurück. In der Vorstadt Laimgrube wurde auf einem Acker ein Haus errichtet, welches als Sommerheim für die Kinder verwendet wurde. 1679 wurde entlang der Mariahilfer Straße der so genannte Mosertrakt errichtet, 1681 wurde das Grundstück mit einer Mauer umgeben. Während der 2. Wiener Türkenbelagerung wurden die Gebäude schwer beschädigt, bis 1687 aber wieder bewohnbar gemacht und bis 1693 durch weitere Zubauten erweitert.
