Das aber Kleidung nicht angefasst werden darf die nach dem Kauf eh gewaschen wird….absoluter Unsinn und hat uns dazu bewogen, das Geschäft ohne Einkauf wieder zu verlassen. That the stuffed animals should not be touched is understandable. The fact that clothes must not be touched that are washed after the purchase anyway ... Absolute nonsense and has made us leave the shop without shopping.
S	Steve Rentner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warum das ein Geschäft mit Kinderartikeln ist, ist mir völlig unklar. Überall stehen Schilder, handgeschrieben, das es keine Selbstbedienung gibt, man solle sich an das Personal wenden. Die Artikel sind aber alle in den Regalen völlig frei zugänglich und natürlich sind die Kinder dann nicht mehr zu halten. Es ist ja ein Spielewarenladen. Unglaublich... Sollten eine grosse Glaswand in den Laden stellen und Museum dran schreiben.... Why this is a business with children's items is completely unclear to me. Everywhere there are signs, handwritten, that there is no self-service, you should contact the staff. However, the articles are all freely accessible on the shelves and of course the children can no longer be held. It's a game store. Unbelievable ... Should put a large glass wall in the shop and write a museum on it ...
A	Alex Hahn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein Steiff-Shop - da kommen Kindheitsträume hoch. Ich betrat den Laden, in der Hoffnung, das Kuscheltier meiner Kindheit wiederzufinden. Die Verkäuferin war mir gegenüber nicht unhöflich, war jedoch sichtlich genervt, wenn Kundschaft den Laden betrat, die bekundete „nur mal schauen“ zu wollen. Tatsächlich forderte sie die Kunden mehrfach auf, nichts anzufassen. Für mich in einem solchen Laden nicht ganz nachzuvollziehen, zumal gekaufte Stofftiere aus der Schublade geholt werden. A Steiff shop - that's where childhood dreams come up. I walked into the shop in the hope of finding my childhood cuddly toy again. The saleswoman wasn't rude to me, but was visibly annoyed when customers entered the shop saying they wanted to “just take a look”. In fact, she repeatedly asked customers not to touch anything. I don't quite understand in a shop like this, especially since bought stuffed animals are taken out of the drawer.

When we told her we wanted to look around for ourselves, she said some really terrible things. Absolutely flabbergasted that someone so mean could be in retail. Go to one of the other Steiff stores around Salzburg, this place is a waste of time.
D	Delfine Vansteenkiste on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a horrific experience!! Never been treated as rude as in this shop! This is a toy- and childrenswear shop. We entered with our four kids (who were all promised they could look around and pick out a stuffed animal ...) the lady asked in a very rude way what we wanted, I answered that we were looking around and she said back ‘but what are you looking for’ making it very clear that just ‘looking’ wasn’t acceptable in the shop... as I replied we were just looking - even though our intention was to buy 4 toys...- she started growling ? litteraly making animal noices???!!! Never ever experienced anything this rude!!! We immediatly left the shop without buying anything! The kids picked out nice souvenirs somewhere else and the rude lady missed a sale of at least 4 toys - with prices starting at about €50 her extreme rudeness cost the shopowner at least €200... never ever setting foot in this shop again!!! If she owns the shop I hope she finds a better suiting career soon, if she just works there: fire her, she’s costing you more than she earns with that kind of behaviour!!! Completly unacceptable!

My wife and daughter went there and while my daughter wanted to gently pet a plush crocodile, the shopkeeper was extremely cold and rude. Apart from that, she really tried to push my wife "how much you want to spend and I show you". Afterwards I came there myself to verify their experience and I found the shopkeeper standing in the door, smoking. When I confronted her, she told me lies about my daughter trying to rip out the eyelashes of some dolls next to the register and some more stuff that simply is not true. Seriously? I strongly believe this shop is a waste of perfectly good retail space. If you want to run a toy shop, hire personnel able to treat customers properly, especially children.

One plush caught our eye so we picked it up carefully to have a closer look at it and to see the price tag. The shopkeeper immediately asked us if we needed help, and when we said we didn't, she dryly told us that we could only touch the plush if we wanted to buy it, and if we didn't, we had to put it back. This lady was very rude and treated us as if we were shoplifters. Did we not look wealthy or local enough to her eyes? Anyways, we really did not feel welcome in the shop, and left immediately, without buying anything.
