Aber was das Stäfeli von anderen Hotels unterscheidet sind die liebevollen und durchdachten Details. Die unterschiedlichen Bücherecken, die wunderschöne Sonnenterasse, der Picknickkorb, welcher am Mittwoch bestellt werden kann, die Maxi Bar usw… Dass ein Familienbetrieb sich in einer solchen Konsequenz Neuem öffnet und Dinge ausprobiert hat uns schwer beeindruckten sehr gut gefallen. Dabei vergisst man fast, dass Familie Birk Gastgeber sind, wie man sie sich nur wünschen kann. Herzlich, mit guten Empfehlungen für die Umgebung und mit einem hohen Anspruch an Qualität. Danke für die schönen Tage! There are many great hotels in Austria and the Stäfeli fits in seamlessly. The rooms are large and modernly furnished. Everything is very clean. But what sets the Stäfeli apart from other hotels are the loving and thoughtful details. The different book corners, the wonderful sun terrace, the picnic basket, which can be ordered on Wednesday, the Maxi Bar, etc ... We were very impressed that a family business opens up to new things and tries things out. You almost forget that the Birk family are hosts as one could wish for. Warm, with good recommendations for the area and with a high standard of quality. Thanks for the nice days!

Uns gefällt besonders die professionelle und dazu herzliche Art und Weise wie Familie Birk ihre Gäste betreut. Liebevoll eingerichtete Zimmer, absolute Sauberkeit und dazu Aufenthaltsräume, die Wohlfühlen garantieren. Mit dem vielfältigen und sehr leckeren Frühstück kann man entspannt in den Tag starten und die wundervolle Landschaft rund um Zug geniessen. Wir freuen uns immer wieder hier zu sein und können das Staefeli zu 100% weiterempfehlen We have been coming to the Staefeli with our family for a number of years and enjoy our holidays here. We particularly like the professional and cordial way in which the Birk family looks after their guests. Lovingly furnished rooms, absolute cleanliness and lounges that guarantee well-being. With the varied and very tasty breakfast you can start the day relaxed and enjoy the wonderful landscape around Zug. We are always happy to be here and can recommend the Staefeli 100%

Frühstücksbuffet, Jause und Abendessen im Achtele schmecken ausgezeichnet. A wonderful hotel with a family atmosphere and a wide range of leisure activities. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet, snack and dinner at the Achtele taste excellent.

Sollten Sie Ihren Reichtum nicht offen zur Schau stellen, z.B. anreisen mit einem Mittelklassewagen, stellen Sie sich darauf ein als Gast zweiter Klasse behandelt zu werden, vor allem von der Hausherrin. Ich empfehle etwas Eigenreflexion und eine Schulung im Bereich Kommunikation und Umgang mit Gästen, die nicht den oben genannten Kriterien entsprechen! A perfect place to stay if you are white, rich, old, straight and conservative. And preferably without a dog! If you don't openly flaunt your wealth, e.g. arrive in a mid-range car, be prepared to be treated as a second-class guest, especially by the lady of the house. I recommend some self-reflection and training in communication and dealing with guests who don't meet the above criteria!

We (couple) enjoyed every minute in the room, in the saune, pool and the restaurant. The hotel takes care of families too, so we might come back later again ;-)

The staff, which these days is made up of family members is just lovely and extremly helpful. The location is straight out of a winter fairytale, and the amenities are out of this world (amazing free SPA and pool) And let’s not forget the fruhstuck :)
