★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You will not regret stopping here on your way down (and from what we observed, mamy tourist make this place a destination in itself). Fantastic place to relax - either sitting on a bench behind a table or on the grass around the hut. We did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food. They do brag about the food being prepared in a traditional way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We enjoyed taking a rest here after some difficult climbing and walking, while enjoying the views at mountains all around. We ordered goulash and knödel soup and both were pretty good. Radler in hot weather was great as well. Service was nice, dressed in sort of folk costumes it added to the atmosphere too.

We paid with cash and there was no water bottle for buying.
Maybe my expectation was super high, but the people there super nice and treat us very well.
I would go again to cover some more hikes, with more cash on pocket
