Sheraton Fuschlsee-Salzburg Hotel Jagdhof

This was an amazing resort! We loved everything about this place. The pool was one of the best I have found at any place we have stayed. Located in a beautiful setting. This was the surprise of our trip. Would have loved to stay one more night here if we had time.

I booked this excellent property to relax after a fast trip to budapest and Vienna. After so much travelling my family was tired ( which I had foreseen luckily ). This property is a small heaven. Amazing location, only 25 minutes from Salzburg city. The view from the room was breathtaking. So much greenery and natural beauty. Check in was very fast and reception was warm and polite. Room was decent sized and very comfortable bed. I requested for baby cot and was provided by a good one. Stay was quite and peaceful. Swimming pool and spa were excellent. I liked different kinds of showers in the spa area. I had breakfast included in my package. I am a vegetarian and they do not serve veg food in breakfast, but when i told service staff about my food preference, they were very quick to make special veg meal for my group. It was a nice gesture. There are also some vintage cars at display. You will love them. Overall a wonderful stay

It’s a very nice hotel at the top of Lake Fuschl. We had a one bedroom suite and it had a bedroom then a door to the living room (you had to go thru the bedroom to get to the living room). One bad thing was we couldn’t open the windows because when we did for a few minutes, two large spiders came in. Then we realized all of our windows had lots of spider webs. Another problem we had was the heating/cooling system made a lot of noise randomly and mostly during the night. It woke all of us up in several occasions. I told the front desk of this on our departure and I had to explain it wasn’t a “normal” noise you expect, but instead was jarring and very loud and it would make it every five seconds for over an hour at times. However, the resort was very nice. We had dinner at the bar and the waiter was super friendly. The burger was delicious and the trout tartare too. Breakfast was nice on the patio. They had the standard fare, eggs, bacon, sausages, pancakes, wrapped plates of cheese and cold cuts, yogurts and fruit and bread. Not up to some standards I’ve had in Austria, but sufficient. I celebrated a birthday here and the hotel was very kind to help order flowers from a local florist, which were really beautiful and shockingly not as expensive as I would’ve thought. We played golf and it was 25€ a person for the green fees and it was reasonable. The rental clubs were also 25€ but were really worn out and not in the best condition (in my opinion) to be used as rentals.

Spend an actually lovely weekend with a friend August 14-16 2020. Room 218 was clean, spacious and comfortable. Location was good, nice garden area. Food at restaurant and drinks at the bar where great - friendly overall service. Spa, sauna and massage was very relaxing. UNTIL: When I arrived home I realized I forgot my apple airpods pro on the nightstand and a blazer in the room. I called the hotel immediately and asked them if they found my things. They said nothing was found in the room so far and they will check again. A day later they called me and said they searched the entire room again and nothing (!!!) was found in the room. I realize it's my fault I didn't check if I left anything behind... But obviously housekeeping just stole my property instead of reporting that they found my things. Unbelievable!!! I've stayed at many hotels in my life - nothing of the kind ever happened to me before! Have fun with my stuff anyway ;)
