U	Ulli Diwisch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ War schon öfter hier und immer sehr zufrieden gestern allerdings sehr enttäuscht Bedienung sehr unfreundlich schien genervt das wir noch kurz vor 14 Uhr noch Essen wollten erklärte uns sehr laut es gäbe nur noch kleine Karte was ich auch verstehen kann aber der Ton macht die Musik warf dann auch noch Karte auf den Tisch Große Karte und meinte als ich Sie auf Ihre Art ansprach Sie wäre heute alleine . Wir gingen dann auch ohne zu bestellen und suchten ein anders Lokal auf wo wir sehr sehr freundlich und kompetent bedient wurden Has been here several times and always very satisfied yesterday, however, very disappointed Service very unfriendly seemed annoyed that we wanted to eat shortly before 2 p.m. explained to us very loudly there was only a small menu which I can understand but the sound makes the music then threw Also a card on the table. Large card and said when I spoke to you in your way you would be alone today. We then went without ordering and looked for a different place where we were served very, very friendly and competently

Die Gastgeberinnen sind ausgesprochen freundlich und entgegenkommend gewesen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker gewesen. Alles, vom Rührei zum Frühstück über die Hauptgerichte bis zum Palatschinken hat eine eigene, sehr besonders schmackhafte Note gehabt. We felt very comfortable in the house, in a quiet, spacious and cozy room. The hostesses were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was very tasty. Everything, from the scrambled eggs for breakfast to the main courses and pancakes, had its own, very particularly tasty note.

Es gibt eine kleine übersichtliche Speisekarte mit regionaler Hausmannskost. Die Speisen werden frisch zubereitet und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist angemessen. Hauseigene Parkplätze vor der Tür vorhanden The Botenwirt is a small family business in the Salzkammergut and is centrally located (3-star hotel and inn). There is a small, clear menu with regional home cooking. The food is freshly prepared and is good value for money. Own parking spaces in front of the door

J	Jeroen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Breakfast was nice, and there was great service. The room was big enough but the furniture a bit dated. However nothing was broken and all worked fine. The bathroom was spacious and very clean. Balkony was nice to relax only traffic a bit loud.. Negative: The road this hotel is situated at is close to a busy road. During the day theres alot of noise comming from this, but it's okay during the night..
M	Mike Nishimura on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since our pension in Faistenau didn't have an in-house restaurant, we walked to the next door to this gasthof for an early dinner after checking-in to our room. It must be some sort of a local hang-out place since there were a couple of tables of folks enjoying afternoon drinks and snacks with much conversation with laughter. There also was a hiking couple just finishing up their drinks as we arrived. Menu was not too extensive, but it appeared to offer some typical Austrian meals. My beef goulash (photo) was very tasty with very tender well-seasoned pieces of meat. I usually don't prefer bread dumplings over potato ones, but this one was very good with enough flavor. I really needed it to finish up all the yummy gravy in my dish. My wife's salad (photo) was well-dressed (perhaps too well), and vegetables and potato croquettes were tasty as well. It included typical shredded carrots and cabbage as well as sliced cucumbers that are well-prepared with vinegar and spices underneath the mound of lettuce. I thought meals were very reasonably priced. We enjoyed our dining experience here, and we just walked across the parking lot to go back to our room next door.
