★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pros: The rooms are clean and well maintained, despite being pet-friendly. The location is fabulous and the views are excellent. The place is run by a family and everyone's really nice and kind. The hotel dog, a senior goldie, is super friendly and is nice to have around.
The food is fresh and well made. I'd certainly recommend their Gnocchi and Grillteller (and advice skipping some of the fried stuff like the Schnitzel - some room for improvement there, especially with oil-retention). The breakfast is quite adequate and definitely delicious. I recommend trying the scrambled eggs & omelettes (they serve a soft-boiled egg as a standard, but you can ask for it to be substituted with a different egg prep).
Cons: The shower drain in our room was clogged, and on day 3 the sink got clogged as well. Room service used a smelly mop to clean the bathroom and toilet and left both smelling musty and sour.
Definitely carry some bug spray if you travel in the summer. There's a tremendous amount of mosquitoes and opening the windows is a BAD idea - there are no insect nets and the rooms don't have any working mosquito repellents (couldn't sleep at all on the third night because of the combination of heat and mosquitoes; there are no fans).
All in all, I had a good stay and will come back, but perhaps slightly better prepared - will carry my own insect repellant and a small portable fan.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During the first night the radiator in our room was broken and at night nobody from the staff was available. However, the next morning that problem was fixed.
Overall service was okay-ish, not great but not bad. Food portions were smaller than expected, but the meals tasted good.
Free Wi-Fi, nice breakfast buffet and the rooms were clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel and restaurant run by family and you can feel it. Being their guest is a pleasure. The facilities are very good. I strongly recommend the restaurant - the food is excellent and the home-made cake won the day.
Very dog-friendly place.
