Ausgezeichnete steirische Küche, dabei l auch Klassiker wie die Breinwurst oder Spagatkrapfen. Tipp an die Küche: hier wurden mehrere Generationen an Maggi gewöhnt. Nun beim Wunsch von >70 jährigen nach Maggi erstaunt zu schauen, heißt die eigene Geschichte zu vergessen und auch die alten Stammgäste. Eine Flasche Maggi auf Nachfrage würde niemandem weh tun, aber vor allem älteren Personen das heimelige Gefühl geben, dass sie hier für Jahrzehnte hatten. Very cozy host, where our family has eaten well for 5 generations. Excellent Styrian cuisine, including classics such as breinwurst or spagatkrapfen. Tip for the kitchen: several generations have been accustomed to Maggi here. Looking amazed at the desire of >70 year olds to go to Maggi means forgetting one's own history and also the old regulars. A bottle of Maggi on demand wouldn't hurt anyone, but would especially give older people the homey feeling they've had here for decades.

Bei mir ging mit Gastgarten nichts mehr. Und auch noch Nebel. Food wasn't bad but not excellent either, good average. Very small card! The view should be good in summer. For me nothing worked with the outdoor dining area. And fog too.

Auf der Speisekarte findet man alles mögliche aus der österreichischen Küche. Es gibt auch saisonale Gerichte. Das Essen ist sehr gut, besonders die Torten sind köstlich, von denen einige zur Auswahl stehen. Die Preise sind in normalen Bereich. Die sanitären Anlagen sind modern und sauber. Schön und gut essen, hier macht man nichts falsch. The Höchwirt is a beautiful, classic Austrian tavern. The view is very nice. In front of the house there is an outdoor dining area and some parking spaces. On the menu you can find everything from Austrian cuisine. There are also seasonal dishes. The food is very good, especially the pies are delicious, some of which are available to choose from. The prices are in the normal range. The sanitary facilities are modern and clean. Eat nice and well, you can't go wrong here.

I liked the "Backhendlsalat" (fried chicken and salad), "Burgunderrindsbraten" (beef with dumplings), "Fleischstrudelsuppe" (soup with meat pastry) and mixed salad. For vegetarians, there are fried vegetables. Also the surrounding area is quiet and peaceful. In autumn i can recommend the "Schilcher" (kind of sweet wine). Schnitzel is of course also on the menu.
