The car dropped us off next to a Schwedenplatz station on the river, took the Rotenturmstraße road, passed STARBUCKS, and bought the Vienna City Cup.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Straßenbahnstation am Schwedenplatz. Hier halten die Linen 1 und 2, sowie die Ring-Tram. Kurzer Weg zur U-Bahn. Weite Flächen mit Gleisen überdeckt. Oft sehr schmutzig. Viele Sitzplätze. Elektronische Fahrplanabfrage vorhanden. Keine besonders ,,gute´´ Station.
Tram station at Schwedenplatz. Lines 1 and 2, as well as the ring tram stop here. Short way to the subway. Large areas covered with tracks. Often very dirty. Many seats. Electronic timetable query available. Not a very good station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely walk around the Danube canal. I am Recommending it especially if you looking for quiet (not crowdy) escape from the city crowds. During summer it s suitable for a couples, who looking for nice romantic walk, have a glass of wine or coffee.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very convenient place to catch light rail but also to connect with tour busses. There are many restaurant kiosks there for a quick bite to eat.
