K	K. Kli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Schottenstift ist das älteste Kloster in Wien. Seit 1155 leben hier Benediktiner. Heute befindet sich ein Museum im Kloster. Man sieht den Schottenaltar ca. 1470, ein Kunstwerk der Spätgotik. Kunstwerke sind auch eine Tafel des Peter Paul Rubens, frühe niederländische Landschaftsbilder und ein besonders schönes Bild des österreichischen Barockmalers Franz Anton Maulbertsch. Der Eintritt kostet 8 Euro, was nicht zu teuer ist, für das was man zu sehen bekommt The Schottenstift is the oldest monastery in Vienna. Benedictines have lived here since 1155. Today there is a museum in the monastery. You can see the Scots altar around 1470, a late Gothic work of art. Works of art are also a panel by Peter Paul Rubens, early Dutch landscape paintings and a particularly beautiful picture by the Austrian baroque painter Franz Anton Maulbertsch. Entry costs 8 euros, which is not too expensive for what you get to see

El carrer on està situat està ple de palaus i és una zona molt cèntrica i poc concorreguda. It is a highly recommended visit. Not particularly well known but if you have time it is worth it. The street where it is located is full of palaces and is a very central and uncrowded area.
