G	Globe Trotter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich kann leider nicht viel berichten, da schon der Anfang der Tour nicht ausgeschildert ist. Wollte spontan raufwandern, habe aber an der Musteralm den Pfad nicht gefunden, lediglich ein altes Holzschild zu den Geierköpfen. Wanderwege sind sonst stets mit gelben Schildern markiert, die hat man hier offenbar vergessen. Habe dann lieber den Plansee umrundet, anstatt mich zu verlaufen. War auch sehr schön. Unfortunately, I cannot report much, as the beginning of the tour is not signposted. Wanted to hike up spontaneously, but did not find the path at the Musteralm, just an old wooden sign to the vulture heads. Hiking trails are otherwise always marked with yellow signs, which have apparently been forgotten here. I then rather circled the Plansee instead of getting lost. Was very nice too.
M	Mandy Ploetner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir starteten am Parkplatz zur Musteralm ( 3€ Tagestiket ). An der Alm vorbei, dem Schild Geierköpfe folgend. Der Weg ist die ersten 10 min. für Autos befahrbar und zweigt dann an einem Holzschild direkt ins Waldgebiet ab. Wir laufen auf Schotter und genießen dabei den Blick zum Wassergraben direkt neben uns. Der Weg wird mit einem roten Punkt ausgewiesen. Da der Weg recht steil ist , kommen wir schnell voran. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend! Wer eine schwierigere Variante im Anstieg zum Schönjöchel will, ist hier genau richtig. Vermeintlich oben angekommen hat man einen tollen Blick Richtung Geierköpfe. Die lassen wir wg. enormen Schnee Mengen links liegen. Rechts dem schwarz/ weißen Streifen folgend , kommen wir sehr schnell zu der Aussichtsplattform, mit dem grandiosen Blick auf den Plansee. Pause ist angesagt. Keine Bänke auf der gesamten Tour, was ich persönlich etwas schade finde. Aber nix was einen Wanderer aufhält! Weiter geht's! Der Abgang ist am Anfang sehr angenehm. Man könnte meinen man sei im Märchenwald. Der tolle weiche waldboden lässt jeden Schritt angenehm abfedern. Allerdings ändert sich das schnell. Nasses Laub und ein schmaler grad mit üppig Wurzelwerk folgt. Konzentriert rutscht man trotzdem einige male ab. Mit dem Blick immer auf den See gerichtet geht es anstrengender als hoch wieder runter. Am Ende kommt man direkt am See raus und läuft zurück zum Parkplatz rechts lang. Fazit: Geröll auf der einen Seite/ matschiges Laub auf der anderen. Man sollte diese als leicht ausgeschriebene Tour nicht unterschätzen! Gutes Schuhwerk ist hier ein muss! We started at the parking lot to the Musteralm (3 € Tagestiket). Past the pasture, following the sign Geierköpfe. The way is the first 10 min. For cars passable and then branches off on a wooden sign directly into the forest area. We walk on gravel and enjoy the view to the moat right next to us. The path is indicated with a red dot. Since the path is quite steep, we make fast progress. The view is breathtaking! If you want a more difficult option in the ascent to Schönjöchel, this is the place for you. Supposedly on top you have a great view towards vulture heads. We leave that wg. enormous amounts of snow are left. Following the black / white stripe on the right, we reach the viewing platform very quickly, with a magnificent view of the Plansee. Break is announced. No benches on the whole tour, which I find a pity personally. But nothing that stops a hiker! Go on! The departure is very pleasant at the beginning. You might think you are in the fairytale forest. The great soft forest floor makes every step pleasantly cushion. However, that changes fast. Wet leaves and a narrow degree with lush root system follows. Concentrated, you still slip off a few times. With the view always directed to the lake, it is more strenuous than going down again. At the end one comes out directly at the lake and runs back to the parking lot right long. Conclusion: scree on one side / mushy foliage on the other. You should not underestimate this as a slightly advertised tour! Good footwear is a must here!
J	Juli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr anstrengende Tour, es geht steil nach oben, zum Teil über Schrofen. Die Aussicht auf den Plansee lohnt sich! Es kommt immer darauf an, wie man's nimmt: Schwitzen und Muskelaufbau sehe ich vom Vorteil, umso mehr freue ich mich auf mein verdientes Mittagessen.Dafür ist man wieder schnell unten. Very strenuous tour, it goes steeply up, partly over Schrofen. The view of the Plansee is worth it! It always depends on how you take it: I see sweating and muscle building as an advantage, the more I look forward to my well-deserved lunch.
