Mask mandatory while in the cable car.
At the destination there was also a restaurant but we have not tried it as it was not possible to stay inside yet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What an awesome experience to go up this impressive mountain in a cable car as big as a bus! The views are breathtaking! It's over too soon though. Once up there, go to the museum to learn about its construction, and see a 3D video in case you happened to end up in the clouds with no views on this day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spectacular trip up Zugspitze in cable car. Harrowing last 500 ft almost vertical. Skiing in the bowl on the top a big effort to get to, but worth it because of near continuous powder snow most of the season.
