The whole place is of outstanding beauty and historical importance. Still, it would be nice to have a free audio guide app on german and english language illustrating the importance of the castle, the fountains, park and viewpoints. If this app is available then, it would be nice give it a better marketing.

Incredible palace. Totally worth a visit but make sure you don't go towards the end of the day as you need time to enjoy it and take everything in. I would also really recommend getting the ticket with all of the rooms as some of the extra ones are particularly impressive! The gardens around the palace are also beautiful so it's worth going there in the morning booking the first time you can get and then enjoying the garden until you can go inside

Stunning place altogether. Spent a whole Sunday morning here taking the palace tour, them walking around the gardens. There are some decent restaurants and cafes nearby as well if you want to try some traditional dishes from Austria after your tour or walk. Entrance to the garden is free by the way, you can see some people passing by for a run or a pleasent dog walk.

One of the best Toursits spot in Vienna. Entry is free and you can walk outside of the place for free. The palace tour can be avoided not much impressed and cost 18euro and extra cost needed to pay for taking pictures inside. Only one hall way was impressive in the tour. But the outside of palace is very good.

Fabulous grounds of the palace you can easily spend half a day exploring. Highly recommended, if you have time for just one place in Vienna go here ! The interiors are nothing special, so I would skip unless you are especially interested in royal history. Download the app for special offers.

Recommended to visit and preferably not during the winters as at this time all the leaves are gone flower dead and the garden is grey or barren ! No photography is allowed inside the palace so your only option is to go and see it. The rooms run through fast so it is recommended to get a ticket for full room and the Audio guide is a pretty good assistance . I would also advise to walk up to the Gloriette for a good city view or just visit the cafe

Nothing can be said more than it is an amazing place. Very spacious gardens. Distinctive fountain, grand palace with legendary decorations. You can save money and enjoy the wonderful gardens and views, there is a restaurant with a panoramic view at the end of the garden

An Austrian palace with big gardens, rose garden and a botanic garden. Easy to get using public transportation. I took the 22 rooms self-tour (Imperial, 18€), and got audio guide included. Most of the rooms are not special or beautiful, the last 4-5 are the interesting rooms. If you have 2-3 free hours, it can be nice (but not a must). I was on February and the plants are in hibernation. I believe the gardens are beautiful on the spring / summer.
