 Cheaper than other lakes, large electric boats with extra reverse gears and large lying areas. Everything great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr nettes Team und gutes Service. Uns wurde eine Wartezeit von ca 30-45 Minuten vorausgesagt, mit der Information unsere Telefonnummer zu hinterlegen. Prompt kam der Anruf unser Boot ist frei. Schönes und gepflegtes Boot. Jeder Zeit gerne wieder.
Very nice team and good service. We were predicted to wait around 30-45 minutes to leave our phone number with the information. The call came promptly, our boat is free. Nice and well-kept boat. Again any time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schifffahrt Loidl bietet sowohl Bootsfahrten mit verschiedenen Booten und Fahrgastschiffen als auch einen Elektrobootsverleih an. Die Preise sind meines Erachtens nach sehr human bemessen.

Insbesondere der Elektrobootverleih wo man für 10€ 1/2 halbe Stunde oder 15€ für eine volle Stunde über den Traunsee tuckern kann ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wir sind am Ufer entlang vorbei am Kloster gefahren, mit einem herrlichen Blick über den ganzen See und auf den Traunstein.

Man darf sich natürlich von so einem kleinen Boot nicht zu viel erwarten, selbst bei vollem Speed ist man nicht viel schneller als mit einem Ruderboot, Spaß macht es dennoch. Und wenn man sich die Kosten für ein Boot aufteilt kostet es fast gar nichts mehr.

Die Reservierung klappte einfach per Mail, das Personal vor Ort war sehr freundlich und gab uns auch Tipps bzgl. Parkplatzsuche die dort eher rar gesät sind.
Schifffahrt Loidl offers boat trips with various boats and passenger ships as well as electric boat rentals. In my opinion, the prices are very humane.

Especially the electric boat rental where you can chug across the Traunsee for 10 € 1/2 half an hour or 15 € for a full hour is highly recommended. We drove along the bank past the monastery, with a wonderful view over the whole lake and the Traunstein.

Of course, you shouldn't expect too much from such a small boat, even at full speed you are not much faster than with a rowboat, but it's still fun. And if you split the cost of a boat, it costs almost nothing at all.

The reservation was easy via email, the staff on site was very friendly and also gave us tips on finding a parking space, which are few and far between.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kann man wirklich nur empfehlen.Es hat der ganzen Familie Spaß gemacht und das Personal (Kapitän)war sehr freundlich. Also wenn wir nochmal zum Traunsee kommen, werden wir das auf alle Fälle wieder holen. Danke für die schöne Bootsfahrt.
Can really only be recommended. It was fun for the whole family and the staff (captain) was very friendly. So if we come to the Traunsee again, we will definitely get it again. Thanks for the nice boat trip.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Guidebooks? all rave about Hallstat - an idyllic little town approximately 40-minute drive from Traunkirchen??.
Unfortunately, with the scenic location comes the usual downside: hordes of tourist????aimlessly wandering the narrow streets with their smart phones?.
Traunkirchen certainly wins out on the quiet beauty?.
Traunsee really met with our approval during our short stay at Landhotel Post.?
