Als harmlose Spaziergänger wurden wir weit ab vom Hof auf einem nicht erkennbaren privaten Weg sehr barsch aufgefordert, dahin zu gehen woher wir gekommen sind. Ein schönes Beispiel für die Sorte österreichische Gastgeber die nur solange freundlich sind, wie man ihnen etwas bezahlt. Zum Glück sind hier nicht alle so. Der Weg zum nächsten Lift von diesem Hof dauert übrigens mindestens 10 Minuten. Extremely unfriendly fellow human beings. As harmless walkers, we were very far from the farm on an unrecognizable private way prompted to go where we came from. A nice example of the kind of Austrian hosts who are only as friendly as you pay them something. Luckily, not everyone is like that. The way to the next lift from this farm takes at least 10 minutes.

Waren im Sommer dort und erlebten eine überaus (gast-)freundliche, hilfbereite und herzliche Vermiterfamilie mit einem tollen Hof, der viele Spielemöglichkeiten (Tramplojn, Kettcars, Spielplatz, Baumhaus mit Rutsche...) und natürlich auch viele Tiere zum Anfassen, Füttern und Streicheln parat hielt. Das Appartement war super und SEHR groß!!! Kurzum: Wir kommen wieder! The Scharfetthof is highly recommended. Were there in the summer and experienced an extremely (hospitable) friendly, helpful and cordial landlord family with a great farm that has many games options (trampoline, Kettcars, playground, tree house with slide ...) and of course many animals to touch, feed and Caressing ready. The apartment was great and VERY big! In short: we'll be back!
D	Diana Gabriel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir hatten im August eine schöne und entspannte Woche auf dem Scharfetthof. Es gibt auf dem Hof viele schöne Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten für die Kinder und die Eltern können auf gemütlichen Liegen entspannen. Die Tiere (Pony, Ziegen, Schaf, Enten, Kaninchen, Meerschweine, Wachteln, Katzen...) waren bei meiner Tochter heiß begehrt und wurden gerne gefüttert. Die Kühe und weitere Pferde waren auf der Alm, die wir natürlich auch besucht haben. Auch Ausflüge zu Fuß oder Fahrrad (kann man leihen) sind wunderbar vom Scharfetthoff aus möglich. Wir haben den Ausflug auf die Alm sehr genossen. Rupert, der Gastgeber, hat jeden der mochte bis hoch zur Alm gefahren. Aber auch zu Fuß ist es gut zu schaffen. Oben angekommen, hatte Elisabeth, die Gastgeberin, leckere Köstlichkeiten zum Stillen von Durst und Hunger. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit mit Tipps für Ausflüge und gute Essensmöglichkeiten. Das Appartment auf dem Scharfetthof war gemütlich, groß und sauber. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können einen Urlaub auf dem Hof von Elisabeth und Rupert Buchsteiner nur empfehlen. We had a nice and relaxing week at the Scharfetthof in August. There are many fun activities for the children on the farm and parents can relax on comfortable loungers. The animals (ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, rabbits, guinea pigs, quails, cats ...) were in great demand with my daughter and were happy to be fed. The cows and other horses were on the Alm, which we of course also visited. Excursions on foot or bike (can be borrowed) are wonderfully possible from Scharfetthoff. We really enjoyed the trip to the Alm. Rupert, the host, drove everyone who liked up to the alpine pasture. But it can also be done on foot. Once at the top, Elisabeth, the hostess, had delicious delicacies to quench thirst and hunger. The host family is very friendly and helpful with tips for excursions and good places to eat. The apartment on the Scharfetthof was comfortable, large and clean. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend a vacation at Elisabeth and Rupert Buchsteiner's farm.
A	Alisa K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super schöner Bauernhof und sehr gepflegt. Für die Kinder ist alles da was man braucht. Die Gastgeberfamilie ist auch sehr lieb und hilfsbereit. Die Appartements sind sehr großzügig. Die Ausstattung in der Küche hätte etwas besser sein können (mehr Besteck, …). Das war aber auch das einzigste. Super nice farm and very well maintained. Everything you need is there for the children. The host family is also very kind and helpful. The apartments are very spacious. The equipment in the kitchen could have been a bit better (more cutlery, ...). But that was the only thing.

V	Vera Vakrat on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed at Elizabeth's place for 7 nights. 2 adults and 2 children during August vacation. We had the greatest time. Very pastoral and quiet. A lot of children activities in the yard. The rooms are very clean, with a porch, a small kitchen with dishes that allow cooking meals. The area is amazing, and Austria so amazing! Definitely recommended!
