★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was average. Salzburg is a small city and if you remain on the bus you will cover the majority of the sites very quickly. If you're prepared to walk you can see most in and around the main central zone. Highlights for me were the Freibad Leopoldskron (Lepi). Place was jam packed in July.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went to Salzburg for a day from Vienna. Took the bus hoping to see the Sound of Music sites. The audio guide in the bus is helpful.Is a great way to see the city, stops are well signposted and easy to find.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst tour I've ever been on. The drivers are incredibly rude and I do believe horse manure has more personality than they do. The stops are super brief (almost like we're not legally allowed to stop there??) the voice recording is decent enough, pretty hard to screw that up as it's pre-recorded. Cannot stress enough how rude the drivers are. People trying to depart the bus hurrying to the door from the tight seats, just to have the door shut quick in their face as the bus then takes off. As I said almost like we're doing a quick stop and go. Driver bears zero remorse. Will not take this tour again. I asked a question and the driver put her hand in my face and told me to wait a minute. She's lucky I didn't slap her. No one puts their hand in my face. Rude nonsense.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not really a guided tour. Instead you sit in a bus like the regular public transportation city buses and driven around on a regular public transportation-like bus route. The only touristy or tour-like aspect of this enterprise is a pre-recorded audio podcast about the things you see along the route.
The driver was extremely unfriendly and prohibited a group of 15 people to board the bus during a rain storm with thunder and lightning because he wanted to chat with other drivers in a well protected office away from the bus. People who hate tourists shouldn't be employed as drivers of tourist buses!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VERY DISSAPPOINTED!! Do not buy ever the 1h Salzburg City Tour! I had a prepaid reservation on July 24, 16.45 and they did not honor the tour. A bus came from a previous tour, but the driver said the next tour is only tomorrow. We were left in the station, with the bus stopped there and the driver went home. Also, i called on the number showed on the website and nobody answered. I tried to reach out to them in written, but they said the tour did happen, eventhough if i have images with the bus and with the time of the day. They do not want to refund mo ey they don't deserve! Very disappointed on this company and I DO NOT recommend.
