OK place. Nice beer, nice soups. Boiled beef was not soft enough. Staff was a bit indifferented, no any warm atmosphere, so there was no any desire to stay and add more beer (even it is nice), just finish the food and go to another place. And yes, outside area is very little and tight, walls everywhere around.

Nice fresh brewed beer. Tasty food. Not so expensive. Very nice fast and polite personnel. Definitely recommend the place.

The place: This is a famous place, especially for brunch/lunch time. The place is welcoming and themed with german Oktoberfest event both the staff and the long tables/benches. The Food: As is what really hot during this time of year, I've settled only for a traditional Weiss Wurst+Pretzel, with their own brewed beer ? - It was excellent and very affordable too. For dessert I've went for an apple strudel with ice cream. 10/10 recommend! Very delicious!

This is always a great food experience to go to Salm Brau. I have been here several times and never been disappointed. Most recently was the Viennese schnitzel which was tender and tasty and cooked to perfection. I also like their lentil soup with bacon and the jager pfandel is great. Stop in on the food is great, great portions and great staff. They make their own beers and whiskey as well if that interests you. Don’t forget to top of the event with some Apple strudel as well!

FOOD: Delicious. Own-brewed beers great too. PRICE: Great! SERVICE: Some waiters 5 stars, but some others kind of rude (reason after 4 stars, and not 5) Excellent experience, totally recommended.

It was super busy when we visited this brewery so only stayed for one beer and quick dinner as the table was reserved for someone else. The beer was OK, very average house beer and so was the Schnitzel - for 21 Euros I expected a bit bigger portion. My wife had some fish which she said tasted like it was out of the freezer. Not sure I'd go back again as there are so many other great places in Vienna.

This people are not selling only the food, they are selling also history. It is a nice place. Good food ( not great like I was expecting) and very nice beer. If you want to go by tram the station is in front of the building.

We had reservation for late lunch! We come here to eat ribs. Food was tasty and good and big portion! You don’t need to wait food long time…. It was maybe too quickly (fast food). Beer is great ?! Service it isn’t… weiters only ask what we want to eat and drink and then food come and then we pay to bill!!! Not so nice experience! It’s for tourists??? Garlic soup was great!!!!
