★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die ersten Besitzer der Burg sollen Perchtold v. Wolfstein im Jahre 1217 und 1240 Albero V. von Kuering gewesen sein. Es folgten mehrere Umbauten, davon einer 1286. Die heute noch existente und gut erhaltene bzw. restaurierte Kapelle wurde erstmals 1392 urkundlich erwähnt.
The first owners of the castle are Perchtold v. Wolfstein in 1217 and 1240 Albero V. von Kuering. It was followed by several conversions, one of them 1286th The still existing and well-preserved or restored chapel was first mentioned in 1392 documentary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Ruine ist öffentlich nicht zugänglich, aber wir hatten Glück da der Eigentümer vor Ort war und uns eine private Führung ermöglicht hatte. Vielen lieben Dank dafür. War super spannend!
The ruin is not open to the public, but we were lucky because the owner was on site and had given us a private tour. Thank you very much for that. It was really exciting!
