M	Mini Maus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zu jeder Jahreszeit einen Ausflug wert. Diesmal bin ich den Schauensteinweg (52)gegangen. Altpölla, Krug, Ruine Schauenstein, Wegscheid, Altpölla. Ca 13 km über Felder und Richtung Wegscheid dann am Kamp entlang. Herrlich. Das letzte Stück der Etappe zurück nach Altpölla ist sehr steil. Nicht Kinderwagen geeignet. Schöne Wanderung ?? Worth a trip in every season. This time I went the Schauensteinweg (52). Altpölla, Krug, Schauenstein ruins, Wegscheid, Altpölla. About 13 km across fields and towards Wegscheid then along the Kamp. Splendid. The last part of the stage back to Altpölla is very steep. Not suitable for prams. Nice hike ??

Gegen eine kleine Gebühr von 2€, kann man sogar auf den Turm hoch, kleiner Tipp dafür, schaut an die Decke. It's super nice up there. A dream for macro / close-up and landscape photographers. For a small fee of € 2, you can even go up to the tower, a little tip, look at the ceiling.

M	Manfred Tschannerl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr attraktive Ruine im Waldviertel in der Nähe der Bezirksstadt Horn. Bietet gerade im Herbst eine grandiose Aussicht auf das Kamptal. Die Ruine wird von einem Verein erhalten und gepflegt. Ich hatte das Glück, an einer Führung, welche der Vereinsobmann durchführte, teilnehmen zu können. Es wurde den Teilnehmern sehr viel über die Entstehung und Geschichte der ehemaligen Burg vermittelt. Ein sehr lohnendes Ausflugsziel, auch für Kinder sehr interessant und leicht erreichbar. Very attractive ruin in the Waldviertel near the district town of Horn. Offers a magnificent view of the Kamptal, especially in autumn. The ruin is preserved and maintained by an association. I was lucky enough to be able to take part in a tour that the club chairman conducted. The participants learned a lot about the origins and history of the former castle. A very worthwhile excursion destination, also very interesting for children and easily accessible.
