I was at the emergency room with my friend who was ill and I tried to explain her symptoms to the staff at the counter but she didn’t speak any English and also very unfriendly. we had to wait relatively short time compared to others written here but still it felt so long. I would not come back to this hospital again.

I have only the compliments to say about this hospital. I had a dermatilogical problem and went there at Emergency Ambulance. I was waiting only for 2 hours... which is great, I heared that in other hospitals waiting time is usually 5-6 hours. Dermatologist done her observation, with full profesionallity and also was very kind. Gave me the therapy and told that if I don't get any better come again to Dermatologie Ambulance for 2 days. I went also to a regular Derma Ambulance which is part of this perfect hospital, and also only the best words! I am fascinated with their team.

Thyroid surgery on January 9, 2019 I can hardly overstate my heartfelt gratitude to Prim. Prof. Dr. Hermann and his entire team in Rudolfstiftung for the outstanding treatment I was given during my recent, very complex and challenging thyroid surgery. From admission to discharge, I was well looked after by competent, attentive and kind personnel of the Chir. Station 7A of Rudolfstiftung. In this regard, I would be remiss not to highlight the outstanding and prestigious expertise of Prim. Prof. Dr. Hermann, but also his sophisticated empathy and human approach that were fully responsive to my concerns, thus making me convinced that I was ‘‘in the best and safest hands''. And this well-founded patient's trust in a surgeon proves to be of paramount importance, at least in my case. This especially since the specific complexity of my diagnosis and some risks associated with the surgery. Prof. Hermann has fully delivered what he promised me: a perfectly managed surgery which lasted longer, but was fully successful. I am also immensely grateful to Prof. Herman for the comforting and friendly mood he created in the operating room just before the intervention as well as for being the first to tell me good news right after I woke up from the anesthesia in the recovery room!!! On the next day, Prof. Hermann informed me in details about the results of the surgery. And as usual, he did it unobtrusively and unpretentiously, but fully confident, authoritative and trustful. All in all, I can safely state that the overall care and high quality treatment I was provided in Rudolfstiftung are very comparable and competitive with some of the leading European institutions for the diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases that I’ve been able to get acquainted due to my long-term diplomatic career. Hence, the international award “Reference Center for Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery’’ assigned to the Department is well deserved and grounded. For all these reasons, I reiterate my high appreciation to Prof. Hermann and his team and with full confidence I can recommend them! Thank you a lot!

I went for a treatment at the Nuklearmedizin section on 1 June 2021 and the doctor in charge of me, OA Dr. Christine Schmid, discriminated me during a consultation because I didn't speak German. She started asking me the reason why I don't speak German, if I was planning to learn the language, why I was not learning the language, and ended up telling me that I don't care about Austria and that I should not live in Vienna without speaking German. We barely talked about my medical concern afterwards because she was mainly concerned about my language skills. I also did some blood tests and although she asked for my phone number to call me about the results, she never did. I would recommend a proper investigation by the ethics committee. Thank you!

The doctor who treated me was very unethical and unprofessional! She rolled her eyes when I told her I don’t speak german and seemed very disturbed. Please go somewhere else, if you can!! they treat foreigners differently!!! Also, very bad organization there. Although I had a Pfizer vaccine (both doses, more than 21 days) they insisted that I need a covid negative test too. Then what is the purpose of having those covid-19 vaccines if you (as doctors) do not recognize them?! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

I was brought by emergency to this hospital at 4 pm. since then the blood was taken, EKG done, and one doctor (HNO) looked at me for 10 mins (I am satisfied with the doctor and his approach), and after his check, the reason of my problem is not with his expertise, so I am still waiting for what is unclear to me. All in all 6 hours!! That’s incredibly poor service and apparently the system does not work. The patients should be at least informed about what they are waiting for and the plan and of course 6 hours waiting time is beyond any acceptable timeframe.

Doctors are great, but had to wait for more than 2 hours despite appointment on multiple occasions. Waiting room has only 10 chairs (due to Covid restrictions), so most people had to stay or sit on cold stairs etc.

My mother had an operation appointment made 3 months ago. She has a lot of problems due to massive polyps like lungs and breathing problems, heart, ears infections and more. She was in the Hospital in the last 2 weeks including yesterday to talk about the operation and all that it includes but today when the op should have taken place they won't do it even if they actually made the appointments and preparations, they even let her wait for 3 hours to tell her she should go home. All because she's not vaccinated (has more antibodies than people who took the shot 3 times ? including the doctor as he stated himself) of course they would say it's not because of that, but let's be serious, they even gave her an patient bracelet and when they asked if she's vaccinated and said no they sent her home. It looks like human protection rights does not exist, even if on their website it's clearly stated that you are not to be obligated to take the shot if you don't want to.. wow people who work in health care don't actually care at all, beautiful world we live in ...
