The house is completely disorganized at the moment. 1. No signs indicating which station is on which floor. 2. The digital lift system can lead to confusion, especially for older people. A touch screen is located between the lifts to press. You have to press the respective stick number and the display shows which lift is approaching the respective stick. ATTENTION: it can still happen, you arrive on the wrong floor ..... you don't know who pressed the button before ..... 3. As a relative, you do not receive any information if a relative is transferred to an isolation ward, where understandably no visitors are allowed to come and you, as a relative, ignorant of this, are turned away, even though the relative is POST Covid and is therefore no longer contagious and ALONE is in a room !!!!! The one star justifies the always friendly care and the chance to receive spontaneous telephone information about the patient's private cell phone. The biggest downer is the fact that very old patients are not simply explained that no visitors are allowed to come at the moment. This would not be a problem with a call from the station concerned to relatives. But this seems to be asking too much in the current pandemic and the current requirements. Medical statements, in my opinion important information, are "not common". At least at this point there was an apology from the OÄ. An improvement in the points mentioned would be desirable. It can't be because you weren't informed, fulfilled all the criteria as a visitor, and were sent home again! A complaint on site was filed.

I had a serious neurosurgical and gynecological surgery in October 2021 and can only report positive things. Especially Prof. Dr. I would like to thank Ortler who operated on me neurosurgery. Operating in a highly concentrated manner for 10 hours is an achievement in a class of its own. The anesthesia was top notch. I slept like a baby for 10 hours and had no side effects when I woke up. But I would also like to thank the head of gynecology, as well as every nurse, nurse and physiotherapist on ward 8A. I felt well looked after at all times. Even from home, if you still have questions and call, you will be well looked after. You can hardly understand the bad reviews. This is a hospital and not a doctor's office, where things are naturally quieter. Outpatient departments should not replace an appointment with a specialist. And when you go to an ambulance, you have to expect waiting times. Especially in times of Covid, when the staff is overworked anyway. A little cohesion and understanding, then it's okay. :-)

You get the feeling that everyone works there somehow. Although I had an appointment, I unfortunately had to wait 4 HOURS (!). Everything works somehow in the gynecology department !!!! They have no orientation there, no schedule. Scrap metal… Not even worth a star, unfortunately there is no option?

It is a bottomless cheek my wife had to leave after 4 hours despite the appointment because she could not stand it anymore after a new appointment the same thing again! It seems to me that they are doing this on purpose.

Was there yesterday in the emergency department. Would be nice to be able to head directly to the dermatology department, with a problem so obviously related to skin and a history of skin allergies and diseases. Instead of that, it isandatory to wait in a non-priority line for the general doctor to become available (only 1 lab, located right at the entrance, where cold air blows every time they open the door, when there are people with vein fluid who can't properly put on a jacket, but ok...) First of all, the staff are coldly polite and completely disrespectful towards a person in pain who nearly can't speak due to intense face swelling and numbing, as well as nausea and dizziness. Going as far as to write comments such as "whiny" in the patient report, I guess some people possess no empathy whatsoever. What do you expect of a person in pain, trying to keep themselves from clawing itchy spots maniacally? Not to mention the sarcastic comments towards the reason of the swelling, instead of mental support. After waiting for 2-3 hours, finally a dermatologist was available, however the treatment was incomplete as they "didn't have anything else available to treat it with". Still thanks for getting rid of the itchiness and giving guidance, however the problem has since then worsened. Lastly, I must mention that the staff seems racist towards people who don't speak German as a mother tongue. No respect for patients trying to describe a complex medical situation in simple terms. Also, they wrote a false nationality on the patient report, because they thought they can determine which country someone comes from for some reason. Hopefully never again in there, I don't like being the subject of entertainment among supposed professionals who are there to "help" in a difficult and painful situation. Still big thanks to those who genuinely tried to help.

I was nervous when I read the bad reviews but my experience has been very positive. I came for an emergency appointment on Saturday morning and waited about 50 mins, then on Monday morning for a scheduled appointment, I was seen by the doctor within 20 mins. All staff were extremely kind and patient. The building looks a little tired but it doesn't matter if the quality of care is good. Thank you everyone in the Chirurgische Ambulanz department!
