★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place, great for the 1-2 h walk. It's good for children and dogs. Close to the town centre. Enter and parking free. Take good shoos, the trail may be slippery.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful and relatively easy hike up (or down). Good shoes preferred but not mandatory. Even the 3 year old in our group made it up. Reserve 1.5-2h if going with children.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went up from Imst to Imst Hogh via this trail. What an amazing trip it is. Going over a lot of wooden bridges, next to and over the roaring river/stream in the canyon. Very impressive, the power of nature going through your senses.
We went with 3 kids, 9 10 and 13 years old. The youngest found it a bit scary and tough at some points.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place! Absolutely loved it! Make sure to wear proper boots, not just some sneakers or sandals as it's very slippery and steep at times. I am not sure it's suitable for kids under 12 and/or ppl with zero hiking experience. I have seen families with small kids but those must the locals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We drove through this little town briefly and enjoyed the beauty and quaint feel (and lunch at the local pizzeria right across the street from parking was excellent!). The actual trail was nice, a bit steep; however, we did not walk much of it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really nice accessible (even for kids) trail near the city centre, how cool is that? ?
Trekking shoes are recommended as it gets slippery due to the water in some areas.
During the may season it wasn't very crowded, so I could enjoy the view and the surroundings in a relaxing, peaceful manner.
It has to be on your to do list ✅
