Wie schwer war die Rüstung eines Legionärs? Welche Spiele waren damals beliebt? Du wirst überrascht sein! Child-friendly and exciting Roman museum A lively exhibition for young and old makes the everyday life of ancient people a little more tangible. How heavy was a legionnaire's armor? Direkt daneben auch ein schöner großer Spielplatz, und einmal in Legionärsrüstung posieren kann man nicht überall! Very interesting, and the children's tour was very nice! Right next to it there is a nice big playground, and you can't just pose in legionnaires' armor everywhere!

Viele Vitrinen, Ausstellung über den Limes zwar recht klein, aber sehr spannend. Kinderecke vorhanden. Die Sonderausstellungen werden immer sehr informativ gestaltet und sind immer wieder auf neue sehenswert. Informationstafeln ergänzen die Vitrinen. Einiges wird liebevoll anhand von Playmobilfiguren dargestellt. Führungen möglich. Personal sehr nett und kompetent. WCs vorhanden. Sitzmöglichkeiten und Tische im Ausstellungsraum. Für Besucher der Region und Interessierte sehr empfehlenswert. Roman Museum in Mautern. Only a few meters from the bus station, there is also plenty of parking space. Museum on the first floor of a fairly old house. Lots of showcases, exhibition about the Limes, although quite small, but very exciting. Children's corner available. The special exhibitions are always very informative and are always worth seeing. Information boards complement the showcases. Some things are lovingly represented using Playmobil figures. Guided tours possible. Staff very nice and competent. WCs available. Seating and tables in the showroom. Highly recommended for visitors to the region and those interested.

Die Kinderspielecke ist liebevoll gestaltet und ladet zum Spielen ein. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert! The museum is certainly not the largest, but it is very astonishing that all the treasures were found in Mautern. The children's play area is lovingly designed and invites you to play. Definitely worth a visit!
