D	Dieter Ockelmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Lage mit Aussicht über die Hügel des Vulkanlandes, leider kann man dort am Wochenende fast nie einkehren, da wegen geschlossener Gesellschaften (Hochzeiten) leider für andere Menschen kein Platz ist. Dafür fahre ich nicht über kleine Straßen, um beim Schloss zu erfahren, heute leider geschlossene Gesellschaft. Schade Great location with a view over the hills of the volcanic country, unfortunately you can almost never stop there on the weekend, as there is unfortunately no room for other people due to closed parties (weddings). For that I don't drive down small streets to find out about the castle, unfortunately today closed society. A pity
l	lokuzzz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Schlosshotel und das Restaurant der Familie Winkler-Hermaden sind für mich ein Stück vom Paradies. Unzählige schöne Stunden habe ich mich dort in der wunderschönen Umgebung kulinarisch verwöhnen lassen. Die Familie und auch das Personal sind natürlich und sehr freundlich. Die Hotelzimmer kombinieren den Stil und die Anmut der Geschichte mit den Annehmlichkeiten der Gegenwart. Das Restaurant ist vorzüglich und die angebotenen Weine, alle aus dem Hause Winkler-Hermaden, brauchen keine Vorstellung. Den schönsten Tag meines Lebens habe ich ebenfalls dort verbracht, denn ich durfte dort meine geliebte Frau heiraten. Ich habe es schon mal geschrieben, aber ich mache es gerne nochmals. Was die Familie Winkler-Hermaden dort aufgebaut hat, ist für mich ein Stück vom Paradies. The castle hotel and the restaurant of the Winkler-Hermaden family are a piece of paradise for me. I have indulged in innumerable beautiful hours in the beautiful surroundings culinary. The family and the staff are natural and very friendly. The hotel rooms combine the style and grace of history with the conveniences of the present. The restaurant is excellent and the wines offered, all from the house Winkler-Hermaden, need no introduction. I also spent the most beautiful day of my life there, because I was allowed to marry my beloved wife there. I have written it before, but I like to do it again. What the Winkler-Hermaden family has built up there is a piece of paradise for me.

Essen vorzüglich und Bedienung wie man es sich wünscht. Bitte weiter so. Now almost 30 years, we come every now and then to eat in this beautiful restaurant and are still satisfied. Wir haben zu viert an einem nicht reservierten Tisch platz genommen und wurden von der Kellnerin nach etwa 5 Minuten aufgefordert aufzustehen, da dieser Tisch nun reserviert sei. Am Nebentisch wollten wir dann Platz nehmen, worauf die Kellnerin meinte, dass das auch nicht möglich wäre, da dieser noch nicht abgeräumt sei. Sie habe wegen Personalmangel keine Zeit, das Geschirr jetzt zu entfernen. Worauf wir "gezwungen waren den Gastgarten zu verlassen". Dies obwohl am besagten Tisch mindestens 10 bis 15 Personen Platz gefunden hätten. Auch war ersichtlich, dass mindeste 5 Personen im Service tätig waren. Nicht gerade kundenfreundlich und eine schlechte Werbung für den Tourismus in der Steiermark. Were in the outdoor dining area of the restaurant this afternoon. The four of us took a seat at an unreserved table and were asked by the waitress to get up after about 5 minutes because this table was now reserved. We wanted to take a seat at the next table, whereupon the waitress said that that would not be possible either, as it had not yet been cleared. You don't have time to remove the dishes now because of a lack of staff. Whereupon we were "forced to leave the garden". This although at least 10 to 15 people would have found space at the table in question. It was also evident that at least 5 people were active in the service. Not exactly customer-friendly and bad advertising for tourism in Styria.

Auf unsere Frage nach einen Tisch bekammen wir die Antwort " hir nicht" und weg war die Kellnerin. Als wir einen gefunden hatten, es waren fast alle Tische abgesperrt ? Mussten den Damen nachlaufen um etwas zu bestellen. Es waren nur 5 Tische im Gastgarten besetzt. Didn't feel welcome, the staff 3 ladies was very rude. When we asked for a table, we got the answer "not here" and the waitress was gone. When we found one, almost all the tables were locked? Had to run after the ladies to order something. There were only 5 tables occupied in the guest garden.
